We'd had a very convenient ringside view of 2009 WSOP finalist James Akenhead, who was seated at the table closest to the blogging table - until suddenly he wasn't. Oops. No matter! Mr Akenhead was kind enough to fill us in afterwards: apparently he reraised with AK in the small blind over a mid-position raise, only for the big blind to go all in with what he soon discovered was pocket aces. Most unfortunate. A short trip to the reg desk later, though, and Akenhead is right back in - current chip count = precisely 30,000.
