The Festival Online is the first collaboration between the Festival Series and an online poker provider for an online version of the series. With a total of over 20 events, 888poker guarantees $750,000 in prize money, with four tournaments featuring six-figure guarantees. The Main Event is a two-day $215 event with a $150,000 guarantee. The Festival Online begins with the Kickoff Event on July 7 which costs only $1 to enter. This event guarantees 25 tickets to the main event and allows players with small bankrolls to have a chance to win big amounts of money.
The next big event is the Opening Event which runs on July 10, 8 pm (CEST). This is a $109 NLH tournament with $100,000 guaranteed. On the same day, in addition to the first PLO event of the series, a High Roller with a $525 buy-in and $40,000 guaranteed will be played.
The next week, on July 17, The Festival Online will have a big Knockout Day. At 8 pm The Festival Online runs $109 Progressive Knockout tournament with $100,000 guaranteed. A $525 Knockout High Roller with $40,000 guaranteed will commence on the same day. The next big tournaments will take place on July 24 with two big 8-max events. A $109 8-Max NLH tournament starts at 8 pm and this event guarantees another $100,000. A $525 High Roller version with a $40,000 guarantee starts at 8:30 pm.
The most important event of the Festival Series Online is the Main Event. It starts on July 31and has a buy-in of $215 and boasts a $150,000 guarantee. The Main Event will be the only tournament in the series that runs over multiple days. Besides the $1 kickoff tournament, The Festival Online offers various huge Main Event satellite events throughout the series. These have a $22 buy-in and guarantee between 30 and 50 tickets to the Main Event. Satellites to all events run almost around the clock and the buy-ins begin at 1 Cent.
