The Festival Series isn't only about poker as there are other types of casino-related tournaments on tap. Yesterday boasted the €125 Roulette tournament won by Domagoj Kuterovac for €941. Kuterovac is back in action today in hopes of winning the second casino event on tap in the €125 Blackjack which just kicked off with 15 entries across three tables.
Players will play 30 hands across three tables while the button moves for the order in which players place their bets. The top two stacks from each table will progress to the final table where stacks will be reset.
There is some skill involved when playing blackjack in this format instead of against the house. There will be times to bet more and times to bet less. More advanced players may employ +EV strategies of occasionally splitting 10s, doubling on 12, etc. that wouldn't normally be part of basic blackjack strategy that one should use to reduce the casino edge when playing against the house.
