A quick sweep of the Main Event tables - still most inconveniently spread over two floors, despite there only being 79 players remaining - reveals that Yasen Dichev is our current chip leader, on what look like around 2.3 million. Witness above his enormous stack in all its glory, such as the mood lighting in the downstairs room permits.
Other players who have cracked the magical million-chip mark include Gerianne Dijkstra (below) on 1.4 million, Jari Pekka Raettyae on 1.3 million, and, in the upstairs room, Andrew Hanak on what is probably 1.3 million, although the fact that he's stacking in 15's makes it hard to say for sure.
