While many players from the Sviten and THMC events busted out and drifted down to the casino bar, the Texas Knockout event scheduled for 10pm got underway right on schedule. The bijou €60 buy-in - so delightfully gentle on the pocket, just perfect for a casual post-prandial punt - attracted 55 runners in all, including The Hendon Mob's own Roland Boothby, as well as The Festival's official photographer, Mairo "Estonian Weirdo" Toom, who nevertheless seems to have captured some images for us from the event in question. All of us on the media team would like to congratulate Toom on his impressive multitasking skills, and wish general luck to all 26 players still in contention.
