Polish poker beast Dominic Ostrowski got a bit lucky but he knew what he was doing when he eliminated The Hendon Mob's Hans Kleinsman.
Both Kleinsman and The Hendon Mob's Roland Boothby put bounties on their heads before the €250 The Hendon Mob Championship began for a free ticket to the first The Hendon Mob Championship at The Festival Series in 2024.
"I'm out," Kleinsman shared an hour after the event was over. "That's good, now I can go to work the bar."
"Wow, that was fast," we replied.
Kleinsman seemed comfortable with being on the rail and recapped the hand. The long story short was that Kleinsman five-bet jammed with cowboys and didn't hold against the ace-queen that Ostrowski called with.
"I'm sorry," Ostrowski said to Kleinsman after the hand. "I am not calling you without the bounty."
Kleinsman understood and didn't blame the experiencing Ostrowski for going for it.
Boothy's bounty is still in play and the field has grown in this two-day event to 97 entries with 87 players in their seats around the start of Level 3.
