Puglisi Sums Up the Blackjack

Honestly - baffling

I just witnessed the conclusion of Day 1b in the Blackjack event, which was surprisingly dramatic - a medium-stacked player went all in, before a much deeper-stacked player (Andrew Puglisi) went in over the top, driving a third player into the tank to consider what to do with his, the biggest, stack. Forgive me, my blackjack terminology may be a bit lacking here. It was all terribly exciting though, and there was a hushed silence around the table from everyone except Andrew Puglisi, who leaned back in his chair loudly declaring, "MATH," with an air of absolute authority. OK.

Anyway, long story short: Puglisi's math proved correct and he is one of the four Day 1b players who will be progressing on to tomorrow's final, along with the six from Day 1a.

Day 1a survivors:
Bui Aron Thanh
Finnbogason Isak Atli
Chris Dowling
Marcus Mertz
Kristaps Krapans
Roberts Krigers

Day 1b survivors:
Andrew Puglisi
Ian Vertefeville
Jari Pekka Rättyä
Jussi Sika-Aho

Also, apologies for an earlier misunderstanding - it will be Blackjack Day 1c that will be taking place tonight; Day 2 of the Blackjack will of course play out tomorrow as scheduled. Which means there's still time for you to enter and put your math to the test.
