The €550 Main Event begins tomorrow and this afternoon the €250 Seniors, the €220 Seven Card Stud and a €50 satellite to tonight’s Day 1c of the €300 Mystery Bounty.
Late registration in the Seniors is closing soon. There have been 66 entries so far, with 35 still in the running for a boost to their pensions. Franke is still in, as is Ukrainian Alexander Dovzhenko. Michael ‘Mick’ Jäger is also still in, hooded, not suited and looking to get some satisfaction at the poker table today.
The Seven Card Stud is running with 22 players, including Nikolas Bokowski who won the Sviten, but Mixed Games Main Event winner Sascha Manns is giving this one a miss in favour of taking his seat in the Mystery Bounty this evening.
The satellite to the Mystery Bounty was a busy one, with 170 entries. There are 57 players left fighting it out for the 24 seats that it generated.
The Blackjack tournament is also underway, with non-stop heats running until 11.30pm.
