Day 1a, the Sviten Special, PLO Masters and Main Event supersat are all buzzing away nicely, spread right across the packed casino complex - but we're not even close to done for today.
After some doubt was earlier cast on the Acroud Charity Tournament, it appears that we are now back on for that. The players are already battling it out downstairs at the TV table, and within a few minutes it should also hit the Twitch stream. I will try to restrain myself from posting spoilers.
On top of that, at 9pm there's a €150 turbo sat to the PLO High Roller. And then at 10pm there's a €125 Win The Button event. And then once those are all over, it would be a crime not to just quickly check out the cash games wouldn't it? They'll be running all night. And then it will basically be time to start the whole thing over again with Day 1b and no fewer than eleven side events tomorrow. Phew. I always thought sleep was overrated anyway.
Still, at least the Main Event players will get an early night if they want one. There's only about 30 minutes and 41/134 runners left of Day 1a, and then they'll be at liberty to return to their hotel rooms. Or not. You can always sleep when you're dead.
