Friday’s Winners at The Festival in Rozvadov

Three more tournaments reached their end on Friday at The Festival in Rozvadov and three more champions have had their winning trophy drawings commissioned.

David Reiber Wins Open Face Chinese

There was heartache for The Festival founder Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, who narrowly missed out on the title in the Open Face Chinese Poker, exiting as runner-up to David Reiber after a gruelling 9 hours of play. Reiber took the first prize of €3,670 while Franke had to settle for €2,650, which might cover some of his bar bill this week. The event attracted 57 players and was a unique sight at the festival and interesting viewing for observers, due to it all taking place face up. For anyone wanting to become better at this game, watching some of these masters at work is a great way to learn how to play.
