Road to Rozvadov – Travel Guide!

We are going back to Rozvadov from June 6-16 and everyone in Rozvadov and around needs to know! The Festival crew is preparing to deliver an event that is in line with what The Festival Series stands for. In the heart of European live poker, in the wild wild west of the Czech Republic, there is a small village called Rozvadov.
Operators: Betfair | Betfred | Betsafe | Betsson | Coolbet | Paddypower Poker | BoyleSports Poker | Champion Poker | Guts | Grosvenor Poker | Svenska Spel | NetBet | NordicBet | Novibet | Meridianbet | PAF | BET365 | RedStar | Holland Casino Online | Inbet | Optibet | Unibet | iPoker | KKPoker
For years already, King's Resort has been building an image to be the largest poker venue in Europe, and not without success! Record after record, huge score after score, bracelet after bracelet, portrait after portrait, they have been the house of many great events. And now we go back with The Festival Series for the 2nd consecutive year!
This time, the party is getting started already a month prior to the event, with the first-ever remote flight of The Hendon Mob Championship during our event. King's Prague, located in the heart of the capital city of the Czech Republic, will be hosting The Hendon Mob Championship Day 1A, going with a buy-in of just €150 and a guaranteed prize pool of €300,000! Then, on June 6th, The Festival circus will move to Rozvadov for 11 days of poker mayhem.
The €500K GTD Main Event, the €100K Mystery Bounty, and the €300K The Hendon Mob Championship are the flagship tournaments. The total guaranteed prize pools are over €1,200,000, with a whopping total of over 70 unique tournaments.

Hospitality Events Rozvadov & Qualify Online
Besides all the poker action there is plenty to do away from the tables. Players who get hold of a Hospitality Package by qualifying online through one of the connected online poker operators will be treated with a great schedule of activities being organised around all poker tournaments. Last year, we had epic fun and even King's Casino itself had to look away a couple of times (Read: Karaoke!). It's not too late to qualify online as the iPoker Campaign is right in the middle! Unibet is hosting qualifiers every Thursday, and Optibet is performing optimally bi-weekly on Sundays!
Travel to Rozvadov: Find a Travel Buddy!
Travelling is perhaps the biggest part of live poker in general. Not only do players look for the best hotel deals, but they also look around for ways to travel in the easiest possible manner. There are several options to reach King's Resort in Rozvadov. And we have lined them up for you:
Travelling from Munich (DE) to Rozvadov
Munich is well-connected, with flights coming in from all over Europe. As one of Germany’s major cities, it’s famous for things like Oktoberfest, Bayern Munich, old-world charm, rich Bavarian culture, and some of the country’s top breweries. But for now, let’s put that to the side and look at the best way to make your way from Munich to Rozvadov!
By Car:
The Franz Josef Strauss Airport (Flughafen München) is just outside the city. From there, it’s super easy to rent a car and hit the road. The A93 highway takes you straight to Rozvadov in around 2 hours — a drive of just under 200 kilometres. When you arrive, you’ll find plenty of parking at both the hotels and the King's Resort. Using a rental company like SIXT, you’re looking at roughly €25–€35 per day for a standard car (not including extras like international travel fees), based on a pick-up date of June 6th and return on June 16th.
By Bus:
You can also take a bus from Munich Airport to Rozvadov. It’s a more budget-friendly option, but the travel time makes it less ideal. Still, if saving money is a priority, it's worth checking out! Flixbus, a well-known bus provider, does offer this route.
King’s Shuttle:
There’s also the option of booking a direct transfer from Prague Airport through King’s Casino itself. This private shuttle service costs €180 one-way for groups of 1–4 people, and €210 for 5–7 people. Full pricing info and contact details can be found below.

Travelling from Prague (CZ) to Rozvadov
When planning your trip to Rozvadov, Prague stands out as the most convenient and accessible city. As the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague connects perfectly with nearly every major European city via air travel. With its rich architectural heritage (Mourinho would be proud!)—like the iconic Prague Castle, the medieval Charles Bridge, and the vibrant Old Town Square—Prague is also a stunning city worth exploring. One thing to keep in mind: the local currency here is the Czech Koruna (CZK), not the Euro. Interestingly enough, in many local cafes, you’ll find tea is actually cheaper than bottled water! And some even say that the tea is the best in the Czech Republic! (Perhaps they never heard of Belgium yet)

By Car:
Prague Václav Havel Airport is situated just on the edge of the city, offering easy access to the main highways. For those considering renting a vehicle, a solid recommendation is Rhinocarhire.com, where you can expect to pay around €110 for a five-day rental of a comfortable car. The drive to Rozvadov is roughly 161 kilometres and typically takes about 90 minutes—straightforward and full of epic views, bringing you right to the entrance of King’s Resort.
Bus/Train Options:
While public transport like buses and trains are available between Prague and Rozvadov, they can be time-consuming and less flexible. You need to think in cost and convenience, it’s generally more efficient to opt for the direct shuttle service provided by King’s Resort, way easier!
King’s Shuttle Service:
For a smooth, steady experience, you can book a private transfer from Prague Airport through King’s Resort itself. The one-way fare is €180 for up to 4 passengers, or €210 for groups of 5 to 7. To arrange your transfer, you can get in touch with their team by emailing [email protected], calling +420 777 281 804, or visiting the contact section on their official website.

Travelling from Nuremberg (DE) to Rozvadov
Nuremberg stands out not only as a historic heartland of the Holy Roman Empire but also as a modern, well-connected city in the middle of Germany. While its rich heritage deserves a museum visit or two, we’re steering you to the east. Before you get carried away with race car dreams at the famous Nürburgring (which, just to clarify, is not in Nuremberg). You’re heading to Rozvadov—home of cards, chips, and the King's Resort. Fasten your seatbelt!
Car:
Your quickest and most flexible route from Nuremberg Airport to Rozvadov is by car. Renting one through SIXT or a similar agency will set you back around €30 to €40 per day for a standard model—keep in mind, that’s before fuel and optional extras. The journey clocks in at about 134 km, which translates to roughly 1.5 hours of highway driving. No Autobahn speed records, please—save that for the poker table during one of our Midnight Madness tournaments!
Bus/Train:
If you’re used to go by bus, don’t worry—public transport has your back. FlixBus operates services in the region, and they can get you close. Alternatively, hop on a regional train heading toward Weiden in der Oberpfalz, a small town not far from the Czech border. From there, a short taxi ride will take you straight to Rozvadov.
King’s Shuttle:
If you're flying in from Prague or just fancy a stress-free ride, the King’s Resort offers its shuttle service directly from Prague Airport. A one-way transfer costs €180 for up to 4 passengers, or €210 if you’re rolling deep with 5 to 7 people. It’s comfortable, and private, and brings you right to the doorstep of the resort. Check their full-price list and book your ride directly with the casino at the bottom of this page.
