Tournament Spotlight – Roulette – Everyone’s Game

Roulette is a casino game that originated in France in the 18th century. It involves a spinning wheel with numbered pockets and a small ball that is dropped onto the spinning wheel. The objective of the game is to predict where the ball will land on the wheel. It is until this very day one of the most popular Casino Games, and what better way to add it to our schedule than to add a tournament twist to it?

History Of Roulette

As mentioned, the origins of the game go back to France, whereas, in the 1700s, they started to play the game regularly. Just to give you a small heads-up, Blackjack is also from the same area and the same century. The first time when The Festival Series introduced a Roulette tournament, however, goes back to 2021.

The Roulette tournament is perfect to escape the cruel bad beats in poker once in a while. On Tuesday 16th of May at 16:00 CET, the ball is going to make its first dunk into the spinning wheel. All players are able to participate, and we will be crowning our 5th consecutive winner of the Roulette Tournament! In 2021, with a final round where only Fins were in the mix for the paid places, it was eventually Tommi Heimonen who would go into the history books as the first-ever winner of this grand tournament.

Would you like to be the next Champion? Make sure to check out all the rules of this event so that you can determine which playing style you would like to maintain throughout the tournament.
