The Final Push: High Stakes and Big Wins at TFO 2024 Closing Weekend


The final weekend of The Festival Online 2024 was nothing short of spectacular, as players geared up for one final push to claim their share of the enormous prize pools.
From Friday to Sunday, the tables were buzzing with action, and the competition was fierce. Here’s how it all went down between August 16th and 18th.
The Festival Series Online - Day 14 (August 16th)
Friday kicked off with a trio of Bounty tournaments that set the tone for the weekend. The €12.50 Bounty was the first to start, attracting 709 players eager to grab a slice of the €10,000 prize pool. Yoozer emerged victorious, taking home €3,055.64 after a series of well-fought battles. AnimalStyle followed closely behind, securing €2,105.84 for second place, while IhaveCheatCode claimed third with €1,233.90.
The €25 Bounty followed, offering a €20,000 prize pool and drawing in 621 participants. After intense competition, TheBuenoGuy clinched the top spot with a prize of €1,275.93, while missnochips and iHeartNuts took second and third, earning €750.45 and €468.14, respectively.
The day’s high-stakes event was the €125 Bounty, also with a €20,000 prize pool. 149 players entered the fray, but it was VicVinegar33 who came out on top, claiming €4,100.90. Toster secured the runner-up position with €3,327.48, and Vaihdoinnimen finished third, pocketing €2,336.41.
As the Bounty tournaments wrapped up, the Rebuy events took center stage. The €12.50 Rebuy attracted 171 players and offered a €6,000 prize pool. JohnHesp outlasted the field, walking away with €1,239.15, while frattt took second place with €838.75.
The second Rebuy event, with a €25 buy-in, featured a €10,000 prize pool and saw 107 players battling it out. Tiltfish72 emerged victorious, pocketing €2,140.83, with CzechRaized in second, earning €1,437.52.
The Festival Series Online - Day 15 (August 17th)
Saturday’s action was all about the Mystery tournaments, with three events offering varying buy-ins and prize pools. The €12.50 Mystery was the first to get underway, drawing an impressive 1,023 players and boasting a €10,000 prize pool. proffesor01 came out on top, claiming €1,022.66, while ZitFluit secured second place with €714.09.
Next up was the €30 Mystery, which saw 621 players competing for a share of the €15,000 prize pool. VIEVERSIUKAS emerged victorious, taking home €2,762.14, with Plumberrage and VivaLLtY rounding out the top three.
The highlight of the day was the €100 Mystery, which offered the largest prize pool of the weekend at €25,000. 291 players battled it out, but it was VIEVERSIUKAS who claimed the top prize of €3,074.44, capping off a successful day of play.
The Festival Series Online - Day 16 (August 18th)
Sunday marked the second to final day of The Festival Online 2024, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. The day began with the Slammer KO events, starting with the €20 Slammer KO, which attracted 744 players and featured a €25,000 prize pool. b1b1c0 emerged as the champion, pocketing €2,184.42, with AstGC taking second place for €1,585.68.
The €50 Slammer KO was the biggest event of the day, boasting a massive €55,000 prize pool and drawing 1,090 players. SuperWillieTann claimed victory, securing an impressive €6,784.75, while MeguruBachi and Thaisoppa rounded out the top three.
The weekend, and the entire series, culminated with The Closer event, a €250 buy-in tournament that offered the biggest prize pool of the weekend (and the series) at €100,000. This high-stakes showdown attracted some of the top players, all vying for the grand prize and a chance to close out The Festival Online in style.
