Franke has delivered the first of his now famous speeches and cards are now in the air for Day 1a of the very first event of The Festival in Malta, The HendonMob Championship. The tournament has three starting flights one per day over the first three days of the festival.
So far there are just 10 players in their seats, but with ten x 30 minutes for late registration, the number of participants is expected to steadily climb.
The Vamos Main Event final table has also just resumed recently, with Festival Series photographer Mairo Toom taking his seat, albeit as the short stack of the nine remaining players. He has 950,000 chips and needs to finish in at least second place to cover the money he sank into the streamers challenge, which he narrowly missed out on scooping.
