The Festival in Malta Day 2 Schedule
With the Vamos Poker Tour now concluded, the schedule is now fully focused on The Festival Series. Today is a later start than the other days, with the first tournament of the day teeing off at 3pm. It’s a Festival Series favourite, a €250 Sviten Special and is expected to be a busy one.
One hour later at 4pm, the second starting flight of The Hendon Mob Championship takes place where more players will seek to join the 13 who progressed from day 1a.
The Mixed Games Main Event, with a H.O.R.S.E.S format is the next event on the schedule. The runners will line up on the starting line at 5pm for 14 levels of mixed games mayhem. Will Franke play again and how many bullets will he fire this time?
This evening there is a satellite to the Main Event, costing €70 to enter and guaranteeing 3 x €550 Main Event seats.

Both the Cash Game Challenge and Franke's Flip Flops have had their formats updated, as each will now conclude differently, with a final on Sunday.
Cash Game Challenge
Tonight sees the first two heats of the Cash Game Challenge take place. Each will run for exactly two hours, with players across both heats aiming to post the biggest profit of the day (in big blinds) in order to claim a seat in the Grand Final of the event, where the six winners from each day of the challenge will play in the Grand Final on Sunday, which will be a PLO4 flip competition. The last player standing (its a stand and go) will scoop a €1,600 package to The Festival in Bratislava.
Franke’s Flip Flops
Franke’s Flip Flops is The Festival Series very own flip and go competition. It takes place every day until Friday, June 7th, between 9:00 PM and 11:00 PM. For those who are not familiar with this event, this is how it works:
- Buy-in: €25 (for chips only, or register at the cash desk)
- Prize: The winner takes it all, and the prize value depends on the total number of players. A minimum of five players is required for the game to run. Prizes are paid in tournament tickets/credit.
- Format: The player who wins the most flip games during that exact day, will qualify for the Final Flip, being held on Sunday, September 15. In the Final Flip, one player will scoop a €1,600 package for the next stop of The Festival Series in Bratislava.
- Bonus: The top winner also gets a unique trophy—Franke’s very own Flip Flops!
- Final Flip: The Final Flip will be held on Sunday, September 15. Players are not required to be there in person, they will still be in and still be able to win!
- Final Flip Format: The Final will be played out in the following way: Every daily winner of the flips (six in total), will get a seat to the final. Whoever wins the flip, goes out. This means there will be five rounds played out until we have the last one standing! He or she, will be crowned as winner, and will get the package worth €1,600 for our next live event.
- Important: You can win multiple seats for the Flips Final!
