Cash Game Challenge Livestream Returns to Bratislava!

The Cash Game Challenge is one of the first formats which is being added to the schedule when all is yet to be decided. One of the main reasons for this is that the Cash Game Challenge is the ultimate way of showcasing your poker skills live on stream. Whereas we did not have a live stream in Malta, it will return in Bratislava!

History

The Cash Game Challenge is a format brought to the tables by the owner of The Festival Series Martin 'Franke von Zweigbergk. One of the main reasons for this is that before this current live poker festival, Franke led the way with the Cash Game Festival. To maintain this wonderful concept, it is by default included in every single stop of The Festival Series.

Where there are live poker series, there is also plenty of cash game action available. What better way to bring it to the players, than to offer the opportunity to play cash games live on stream? It has great value to it as the winner will win a package worth €1,600 for the next stop. It has brought us epic scenes during our previous stops, and by continuing to refine the concept, it becomes even more of an epic format!

The Structure

The Cash Game Challenge consist out of twelve sessions, each lasting 120 minutes. The minimum buy-in is equal to 100 big blinds, regardless of the stakes. Available formats for this challenge are No-Limit Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha (4 cards).

The goal of the challenge is very straightforward. Whoever collects the most profit in terms of big blinds, wins the challenge on that day. This means that every day (two sessions), a winner will be crowned. This winner will automatically qualify for the grand final flip, being played out on Sunday, November 24. The winner does not need to be physically present during the final as it will be decided with one-hand flips.

The final will have at least six players. However, the occasion may arise that a player qualifies multiple times for the grand final, giving him- or her even more chance of winning the package for the next live stop!

The grand final is being played out with one-hand flip shootouts. Whoever WINS the hand, goes out. So the winner of the challenge needs to lose every single one-hand flip at the grand final, which delivers epic scenes!

Registration for the Cash Game Challenge

From Monday to Saturday (Nov 18-23), players can register for the Cash Game Challenge in the same way as they need to register for any other cash games at Banco Casino. This means that the player needs to register at the desk of the floor managers in the cash game area. One certain tv-screens, the registration information will be visible so you exactly will know whether there is still seats available or not. And to whom you might be taking it up against!

To make it all go just a little bit more smoothly, we decided that pre-registration is also allowed during this upcoming stop. Simply contact one of The Festival crew members listed below, and inform them which session you would like to play.

*Make sure you will be available to participate in the required session, as we will make use of the waiting list once the registered player does not show up at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.
