Road to The Festival Online: Flagship Tournaments
The forth edition of The Festival Online is just around the corner. The Festival Schedule has been reveled. Live satellites are running on the daily. Everything is (almost) set for the The Festival to take center stage on the iPoker network. One of the last things left to discuss is the Flagship Tournaments.
Think of these multi-day tournaments as the headliners of The Festival Online. With the €55 Main Event starting its opening flights on August 3rd (the first day of the event), there are numerous flights available until August 19th, when Day 2 will officially kick off.
There is a total of four flagship tournaments to consider, all knockouts with the x5 opportunity to re-enter The important topic of all these tournaments is that they are played with a 'stack-builder' format. This means that you can qualify multiple times for Day2 of these events, having all qualified stacks combined in the end. In this article will break each down bit by bit.
Mini Tournament
The first tournament of the multi-day bunch will be running all throughout The Festival Online, finishing on Monday, August 19th. Similar to two other flagship tournaments, the Main version will be played in an NLHE format, with a fixed buy-in of €55. Going with a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000, the final table can be certain to score big!

Mini Tournament
Trailing closely behind is the Mini version. Again, it will be running during the entire duration of the tournament (August 3rd - August 19th) with a somewhat smaller buy-in of €20. This is another NLHE format tournament, again same as the Main flagship tournament. The guarantee for this event is set to €50,000 GTD.

Micro Tournament
Along with the Mini multi-day tournament comes the Micro one. As expected, the Micro version will come with an even smaller buy-in of just €7.5. As a result, it's guaranteed prize pool will also be a bit lower, set at €20,000 GTD. It's opening flights will be running from August 3rd - August 18th , with the final table scheduled for August 19th.

Omaha Tournament
The last member of the flagship bunch is the Omaha tournament, standing out for a number of reasons. As the name suggests, this is the only one of the four not played in an NLHE format. It is also the only one with opening flights running a day shorter, from August 3rd - August 17th. This also moves the Omaha final table to August 18th.
The buy in is set to €25, while the prize pool is promising to be €10,000 GTD.

More Than Just Flagship Tournaments
Of course, The Festival Online has more goin for it than just the Main Event and the flagship tournaments we just discussed.
For one, players will be able to complete Missions to get a chance to win added value such as full live packages and/or numerous of satellite tickets. There are five different mission types to go around running throughout the length of the tournament.
On the other hand, there's also the iPoker Leaderboard to think about. Since leaderboards are relatively common with online events, each comes with its own scoring board and prizes. While we won't get into the former here, we can say that there are The Festival in Malta Packages up for grabs!
