The Festival Photo Competition – News!
The Festival Series gives players plenty of opportunities to join the events. Players can win packages during the event for the next stop, and there are also numerous online satellites available at approximately 30 different online poker operators. This time, an online photo competition took place for the second time in history!
Out of all the possibilities to qualify for The Festival Series, the photo competition is perhaps one of the easiest ways to success. The rules were pretty simple:
- Get Creative with The Festival Stickers
Take the most entertaining and creative photo or video you can think of using The Festival stickers, or anything related to The Festival. Don’t have a sticker? No problem! Use hats, hoodies, or even random objects like sand, water, or furniture to recreate The Festival's name. The further you think outside the box, the better your chances! - Share Your Creativity on Social Media
Post your creation on Instagram or Facebook. You’ll need to:- Follow The Festival Series on Facebook or TheFestivalOG on Instagram.
- Tag #thefestivalphoto in your post.
- Tag us: either @TheFestivalOG on Instagram or @The Festival Series on Facebook.
- Multiple Entries? Even Better!
You can submit as many entries as you like, increasing your chances to win with every post!
And The Winner is.......
After having received numerous applications from candidates who all wanted to win this exclusive full package for The Festival Series Bratislava, the team of jury members knew already upfront that it would become a tough task to provide their personal preferences. All jury members were asked to give the top 3, and eventually, one artwork would come out on top, and thus become the winner of the second-ever photo competition.
We had artworks which were based on Halloween, some were made with our super cool Festival Caps, and others got creative with tools such as photo editor.
The one who came out on top is the creativity of a girl all the way from Norway, and her name is Britt Robertsen. Not only had she provided a winning photo, but she also took advantage of the situation and provided an epic video, where her dog was the main character of the day!
A Few Words of the Winner!
I'm beyond excited to have won The Festival Series photo competition and scored a full package for The Festival in Bratislava! Last year was such a blast—it’s hands-down my favourite event I’ve been to so far. I’ll never forget hitting a royal flush in Ultimate Hold'em when I fell so bad to have busted out of the Main Event!
This time, I'm hoping to break the “Main Event curse” and go deeper than ever. I’ve been thinking about how to bring something creative to the table as I am not a technical genius, maybe a body paint stream inspired by poker would do the trick! With so many talented people out there, such as photographers, video editors, etc, I really wanted to do something special.
A good friend of mine, who is hosting her own Twitch Stream and is one of Norway's biggest streamers, got me inspired with this idea and it turned out well! I have also my own Twitch Channel, where I usually show content not just about poker, but also about everything that daily life is bringing me.
The best part of this journey ahead of me? All the fantastic memories and friendships which will be made along the way. Bratislava, here I come!
