Main Event
With The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) now concluded, the Festival in Malta is now focused on the Main Event, which today has its 3rd starting day, which begins at noon.
There have been 170 entries from the first two days combined and 67 players have already progressed to Day 2, which takes place on Saturday. More hopefuls will attempt to join them today.
There’s also a satellite at 7pm into tomorrow’s final two starting days of Main Event.

NLH High Roller - €30,000 Guaranteed
There was a €2,000 overlay in the €1,100 PLO High Roller on Wednesday and today sees the NLH version of The Festival High Roller take place. It starts at 5pm with a €30,000 guarantee.
€250 H.O.R.S.E
The €250 H.O.R.S.E is the highlight of the day for mixed game players, dropping the Sviten Special that was included in the Mixed Games Main Event (H.O.R.S.E.S) that was won by Eirik Presttun from Norway. For Omaha fans there is a 4/5/6 card PLO at 8pm, also with a €250 buy-in.
€250 NLH Deepstack & €125 Thursday Madness
At 2pm today the €250 NLH Deepstack gets underway. Its a 2-day event and for those who don’t have as much time to spare, there’s the €125 Thursday Madness at 8.30pm. Karev Tralla tried his hardest to take back-to-back titles in the Wednesday Madness tournament, however he did make the final table again, finishing in 7th place….after about seven bullets.
Slots Tournament
Today’s casino games tournament is the €125 slots tournament, which takes place at 9pm this evening, although this time we haven’t dragged a bunch of slot machines onto the stage, it takes place in the casino. Feeling lucky, punk?
Cash Game Challenge & Franke’s Flip Flops
The cash game challenge also continues this evening and at 9pm there’s another session of Franke’s Flip Flops. Yesterday The Festival Series photographer Mairo Toom won the most flips and books himself a place in Sunday’s Grand Final. But who’s going to take the photo of the winning moment when he secured the €1,600 Festival in Bratislava package that he’s surely destined to win?
