The Festival caught up with professional DOTA player Brian Canavan. He has 169,000 subscribers on YouTube and an 11,000 MMR (matchmaking ranking), putting him in the top 1% of players globally.
"The biggest hand happened in Limit Hold'em. I had ace-king, Siarhei had ace-eight. We both flopped a pair, but he rivered trips. I definitely felt the pressure; he is a very high-level player, and even though it was my first time playing against him, it was clear that he is an experienced Mixed Games player."
When comparing poker and DOTA together, he said, "DOTA isn't much like the Mixed Games, it's more like No Limit Hold'em."
