The Festival Weekend – Vilnius 2026
The first of three weekends, and a debut for The Festival Weekend, and The Festival in general, in Lithuania's capital Vilnius. The Festival Weekend Vilnius will run from May 28 – 31, 2026, and will feature a tightly packed schedule. The previous Weekend Event got its debut last year, and now we will have our first event of 2026!
Olympic Casino Lietuva will be the host casino for this weekend. The Festival is happy to be collaborating with the Olympic Casino Group, which has enabled us to have their beautiful venues across the Baltic States to host The Festival Series and The Festival Weekend.
The Festival Founder, Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk, had this to say about the collaboration with Olympic: "We are very excited about the partnership again with OEG (Olympic Entertainment Group) and the opportunities it give us and OEG to create an even stronger poker community together in the Baltics, much like the original Baltic Way."
1. Event Overview
The Festival Weekend Vilnius will debut in Lithuania's capital from May 28 – 31, 2026. At the first of three weekends in The Festival's own Baltic Way, expect a mixture of games across a tight, action-packed schedule. The last weekend event in Tallinn was Sviten Special themed, and this time it will give you plenty of events that will suit to all types of players.
As we have plenty of online qualifiers available on various platforms such as Svenska Spel, Betsson, Guts, NordicBet, and Betsafe, we also will have our Hospitality events. 2. Venue Details
The weekend will take place at Olympic Casino Lietuva, one of Lithuania's largest and most popular casinos. It is located in the heart of Vilnius, a short walk from the city's New Town and the Old Town.
Similar to Banco Bratislava and the Crowne Plaza Bratislava Hotel, The Olympic Casino Lietuva is situated inside the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, a four-star venue. This makes commuting to and from the casino a breeze if you choose to stay here. The casino is located on the upper floor. The hotel also boasts a Skybar on the top floor, a perfect place to take a break or chill between tournaments.
This offers visitors a prime opportunity to see two different slices of the most populous city of the Baltic states. UNESCO recognised The Old Town as a World Heritage Site in 1994, and it is considered one of Europe's best-preserved old towns.
Getting to Vilnius
Vilnius is accessible via its international airport, which is located just 15 minutes by car or public transport from the city centre. Direct flights are available from numerous European cities, but for many, it will require a change or connecting flight to get to Vilnius.
- Fly to Vilnius Airport (VNO). Take a taxi or public transportation from the airport, and you will be in the Old Town within 10-15 minutes. There is a bus that takes 10 minutes and costs €3.

What’s the easiest way to get to Olympic Casino Vilnius?
Fly to Vilnius Airport (VNO). From there, it’s a short trip to the venue by taxi, car, or public transport. It takes around 35 minutes in total by bus and a short walk, or 30 minutes by taxi.
When will the tournament schedule be available?

What can I do in Vilnius outside of poker?
Vilnius has plenty to offer, from its UNESCO World Heritage-approved Old Town to the historic Gediminas Castle Tower. The city has a flourishing art scene, with street art aplenty and numerous museums. The city is host to a vibrant food and drink scene and beautiful architecture.
Will there be new tournament formats in Vilnius?
We always aim to bring fresh and exciting formats to our events, but for this weekend, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Last year in Bratislava, we introduced the first-ever Chicago European Championships, which proved to be a smash hit with players from across Europe.
