The two-day €250 The Hendon Mob Championship kicked off moments ago after some announcements by The Hendon Mob's Roland Boothby and The Festival Series founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk welcoming the crowd.
The event provides plenty of play with a 30,000 starting stack, 30-minute blind levels, and unlimited re-entries allowed during the first eight blind levels. Players will advance to tomorrow's Day 2 already in the money with the action on Day 1 concluding when the field is down to just 15 percent.
To make things more exciting, The Hendon Mob added bounties to both Boothby and to The Hendon Mob's Hans Kleinsman who are both hoping for deep runs in their signature event. Those claiming the bounty will win a free buy-in to the next The Hendon Mob Championship at The Festival Series.
The winner of this event not only will be awarded a lion's share of the prize pool along with the usual The Festival Series customized framed sketch of the winner but also a special flag at The Hendon Mob and the exclusive The Hendon Mob trophy.
Matthew Adams, Steven Goose, Totti Lind, Stig Moen, Toivo Ojasoo, and Olav Snildal are among the 32 early entrants joining Kleinsman and Boothby in the field.
