David Clark was the first player eliminated on Day 1c. His chips got into the middle on the turn with A Q against the big slick held by Benjamins Fonarjovs with the ace-nine-five-king with two of the cards diamonds on the turn. A brick hit the river for Clark and he went out for a beer before continuing with his plans to re-enter the Main Event.
Meanwhile, Jari Mahonen, Dan Wald, and Jonas Sundin hit the rail in the final minutes of the opening blind level. We may see this trio again if they decide to re-enter like Clark has.
