Our blackjack event started today with six players as most of the package winners elected to play the starting day tomorrow. Or maybe they had a hunch about the dealer for this starting day. We just witnessed the very first hand of the blackjack tournament and after all players managed to get to 17 - 20 the dealer turned over Ace and King for a blackjack to scoop everyone.
The rules of this tournament are simple: we play 6 rounds of 15 hands blackjack with increasing blinds. Players start with a fixed stack and re-buys are possible during the first 45 hands. Late registration is impossible. After 90 hands the two players per table with the most chips advance to day 2. Since we're only playing one table today, only two players will advance. Should the bank continue being lucky and should everyone bust, the last two players standing will advance.
