Gork Bubbles 10-Game Mix

Marc Gork

Having climbed up the counts, Marc Gork couldn't maintain momentum and had slipped down to become the short stack. He tripled from 3,000 to 12,000 versus the chip-leader Sampo Ryynänen in a hand of Badugi; Gork then moved all in in the first hand of BigO. He had A 3 4 5 6 against Ryynänen's A 3 6 7 J . Gork couldn't even make a pair across the K J K 7 9 runout and became the bubble boy.

In the build up to the bubble, Ryynänen was applying maximum pressure to the table, but something had to give at some point, and unfortunately for Gork, he missed out on the €2,390 min cash and a shot at the trophy.

During the time it took to write this post, play is now heads-up between Ryynänen and Alexander Freund!
