Greek Domination on Day 1d of Main Event

Day 1d of the €500,000 guaranteed The Festival Series Bratislava €550 Main Event was a turbo-charged affair that witnessed 48 entries from countries across the globe battle it out in hopes of securing a healthy stack for Saturday's Day 2.

Greece's Charalampos Chalkiotis bagged the overwhelming Day 1d chip lead with 259,000 to place him in second place only behind Day 1c chip leader Kelly Kellner from Canada with 349,000.

Fellow Greek countrymate Christos Vettas bagged 138,000 for the second biggest stack on Day 1d with Pedr Behr (106,000) and Slobodan Trajkovski (103,000) also compiling six-figure stacks.

Jason Kiselis has made the most of his trip from Australia with 69,000, while defending champion in The Festival Series Malta Main Event champion Oystein Brenden advanced with 66,000.

The Main Event currently attracted 410 entries across the first four starting days with many more to come with the final two opening days taking place on Friday. Players will also be permitted to late register and re-enter during the first two blind levels of Saturday's Day 2. Check out all of the Day 1d chip counts below:
