Over in the Ladies' Event, the atmosphere seems to be improving as some drinks have arrived. Still early days yet (and only three tables, as a fair few women who might have played it are currently in the Main instead), but we have high hopes for some entertaining stories to emerge once they're all suitably lubricated. Also note the Heads Up table at the back there - Jacob Dideriksen-Nielsen is still patiently waiting to see who he'll be playing in the final. We'll let you know as soon as that's decided.
Who I feel sorry for is the single table of Pokerlistings Championship (currently 67/140) players who are playing on their own out in the hallway, despite there being several empty tables available in the main tournament room. Not sure of the logic there, but it is admittedly very peaceful out in the cool air-conditioned lobby.
