Back-to-back players from Denmark hit the rail to leave just a final table of nine players. The latest casualty was Nidal Dawoud, who made his first trip to The Festival Series and had a deep run in the Main Event only to bow out in 10th place for €6,080.
Not much was known about Dawoud until recently. He was witnessed squeaking into the final table at the Malta Poker Festival €550 Main Event but wasn't able to get any further for a ninth place finish for €10,380. He was playing for much more today but it wasn't meant to be. Better luck next year to run even deeper at The Festival Series and across the globe!
