A total of 66 entries of at least 49 years of age each battled it out yesterday in the one-day Event #20: €250 Seniors 49+ for a share of a €14,107 prize pool.
The Festival Series founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk and poker commentator Stig Moen were side-by-side deep in the event but weren't able to advance to the final table where all the money was to be played for. The final five players in Doverklint, Bror Kiveiloe, the sharply dressed Kelly Kellner, Olav Snidal, and Anders Beckman discussed a deal after Anders Aashammer busted in sixth place. A deal was agreed and Doverklint went on to win the personalized sketched winner's photo trophy and the €2,600 top prize.
