The Hendon Mob put bounties on two of its esteemed representatives in Hans Kleinsman and Roland Boothby before the start of the two-day €250 The Hendon Mob Championship. The prize for the bounty was a free entry into the next The Hendon Mob Championship at The Festival Series.
Dominic Ostrowski won the first bounty after he sent Kleinsman off to the showers early when his ace-queen got there against kings in a five-bet all-in preflop pot.
Ostrowski wasn't done quite yet. Boothby hung around for a bit of time before he ran into Ostrowski's set. Now, Ostrowski will have options as he can either use both bounty prizes the next The Festival Series or if he only needs one bullet he will have a free entries to The Hendon Mob Championship at the next two The Festival Series stops.
"I misread my hand," Boothby admitted. "I would have lost anyway but thought I had the top pair. It turns out I had ace-high. Neither was good against my opponent's set."
Meanwhile, The Hendon Mob Championship is up to 150 entries with 99 players remaining with more than a full level of late registration still available. Best of luck to Ostrowski and all of the other The Hendon Mob Championship players.
