While we've been cramming the Main Event and all these side events into every available cranny of the casino and hotel complex, a single table, conveniently located next to the upstairs bar, has been reserved for what many regard as arguably the real Main Event: Franke's Flip Flops.
The single-hand, high-volume, variable buy-in format is a game of great skill and complex strategy, wherein you are dealt an Omaha hand, flip it, and try not to knock over anyone's drink in celebration when you win. If that weren't enough in itself, at the end of the week the player who's won the most flips will win a €1,600 package to our next event.
Flips will be running all day tomorrow, commencing at 11am for folks fancying some reckless gambling right after breakfast, or indeed as you stumble out of the casino - we don't judge here. May the best man win.
