Aivaras Smaidziunas has been crushing the side events with at least three final table appearances but never got much going despite trying during a few opening flights in the Main Event.
He was on his second bullet today when his ace-king didn't hold against jack-nine. We asked our Lithuanian friend whether he would get back into the action.
"No third bullet for me today," said Smaidziunas. "Instead, I will play the High Roller."
Perhaps that is the wise decision for the Lithuanian who has experienced only bad luck in the Main Event but tons of love on the side events. Best of luck in the two-day €1,050 High Roller, which kicks off at 6 p.m.
