Discovering Iceland: A Journey with Modern-Day Vikings
We spent four amazing days in Iceland, soaking in the beautiful scenery and taking part in exciting adventures. The countryside was stunning, and as we travelled, we took on a fun mission: finding today’s "Vikings."
Our first Viking encounter happened through an online tournament with the Battle of Vikings Part I, where we even had the chance to win some exclusive prize packages. Almost three prize packages were given away, and that was just the beginning of our Viking-inspired experiences. Meeting Icelandic Vikings Up Close
In our search, we finally met a real-life Viking. We talked to him about what it truly means to be a Viking today, learning a lot about their unique values and adventurous spirit. Inspired by this, "Farmer Franke" decided to get into the Viking mindset by diving into Iceland’s freezing waters—just like Viking explorer Leif Erikson saw the fears right in the eye when he went out to explore and look for America! This brave swim was a huge challenge and showed us how Vikings learn to embrace the cold.
We later met even more Vikings at a local event, where three more prize packages to The Festival Series Bratislava were awarded. The whole experience was full of energy and fun, and it was great to see such a strong Viking spirit among the locals in Iceland.

Looking Forward to the Icelandic Lava Adventure
With these memories fresh in our minds, we’re looking forward to the next big event: the second part of the 'Battle of Vikings'! Will it become an Icelandic Invasion during the event in Bratislava, happening from the 18th to the 24th? This event will be another chance to win special prize packages and join in on even more fun.
