Everything You Need to Know Before Visiting King’s Resort in Rozvadov

Everything You Need to Know Before Visiting King’s Resort in Rozvadov

ROZVADOV, Czech Republic — King’s Resort is located in the small town of Rozvadov, right near the border between Germany and the Czech Republic. It’s known as the top place for poker in Europe, with a good reason- It's the LARGEST venue for live poker in Europe! But there’s more to it than just big games and a busy casino — if you’re planning to visit, there are some important things to know before you go.

If you are heading to Rozvadov for our upcoming event of The Festival Series, here’s your essential guide to the do’s and don’ts at King’s Resort.

✅ The Do’s: Make the Most of Your Visit

Bring Valid ID

Entry to the casino is strictly regulated. All visitors must present a valid government-issued ID — passport, national ID, or driver’s license. No ID, no entry. Once you are registered, you get a personalised card at your disposal, which you can use to check in/out for all future visits.

Take Advantage of 24/7 Casino Access

King’s Resort operates non-stop, offering an impressive selection of table games including roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, and over 300 slot machines. The poker floor features more than 160 tables, hosting daily tournaments and global events such as the World Series of Poker Europe (WSOPE), as well as local events such as $ZTOS$ Series, Dutch Classics, Benelux Classics, Wolf Millions, OLA Poker Tour, Euro Poker Million (EPM), and many more.

Participate in Poker Tournaments

Tournaments are held daily, with buy-ins starting as low as €40, making them accessible to everyone. Our own tournament schedule has over 60+ tournaments available, as well as competitions such as Franke's Flip Flops and the Cash Game Challenge. Of course, cash games will be available 24/7!

Relax in the Spa & Wellness Center

After hours at the tables, guests can unwind in the wellness area featuring a Finnish sauna, steam bath, herbal steam, and a pool. Definitely recommend this option as it's just absolutely wonderful, and it has a great view! Thai massage services are also available, with certified professionals on hand.

Dine in Style

The in-house Radimský Restaurant offers gourmet international cuisine in an elegant setting. Whether you are looking for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a bite in between your sessions, you can get a lot of delicate dishes here! Another option, and this where most players make use of, is the buffet. Opened during the majority of the day, you can go there for delicious food!

Admire the Art

Few casinos double as art galleries, but King’s does just that. The resort displays original works from Andy Warhol, Tony Cragg, and Czech impressionist Václav Radimský — adding a cultural flair to your stay. If that's not enough, after the first day of the event, you will also be able to check out the artwork of Modernoise, an artist from Ukraine who is making all our winner's portraits!

Use the Free Shuttle

A complimentary shuttle service runs between the resort and its affiliated accommodations.

❌ The Don’ts: What to Avoid

Don’t Show Up Without ID

This cannot be overstated. Czech regulations demand identity checks at entry. If you forget your documents, you won’t get in — no exceptions. Really make sure you get this on order before you are heading down to Rozvadov.

Don’t Bring Pets

While the resort welcomes humans of all kinds, pets are not allowed on the premises. Make arrangements in advance so your pets are being taken care of when you are crushing it at the poker tables!

Don’t Expect a Dress Code – But Dress Smart

There’s no formal dress code, but this isn’t a beach bar. Opt for smart-casual that suits the setting. Avoid athletic wear or anything overly informal, although in poker this is fairly normal. If you ever hesitate what to wear, check out our photographer during the event! He can give you some tips or two! Ask Lemon Poker as well, but success is not guaranteed!

Don’t Assume Everything is Included

While many facilities are luxurious, some — like the wellness centre — come at an extra charge. For instance, access to the spa area starts at €15 for the first hour, and €10 for every next hour.

If you have any questions or want to book through us, make sure to contact Melvin Schroen, or send us a message via one of our social media channels.

Don’t Overlook Local Attractions

If you have time and are not part of the Hospitality Events for eligible online qualifiers, consider excursions to nearby sights such as the Pilsner Urquell brewery in Plzeň or the historic Mariánské Lázně Golf Club, the oldest golf course in the Czech Republic.
