Introducing The Festival Online Missions
There is plenty of value in The Festival Online (August 3rd - August 19th) as is. There are close to two dozen iPoker operators in the game, making the online series available world wide. There is also The Festival Leaderboard with countless packages up for grab.
And yet, The Festival has decided to step things up again with their newest edition - The Festival Online Missions. In this article, we're going to tell you a bit more about them.
The Festival Online Missions: The Basics
At this point, we haven't told you much about these Daily Missions. So, let's discuss the who, what, when, and where first.
For starters, you should know that all these Daily Missions serve a purpose - they give players added value, in terms of full live packages and/or numerous of satellite tickets.
Similar to the iPoker Leaderboard, the Missions will be running throughout the entire Festival, meaning that you'll be able to play them on the daily from August 3rd to August 19th on the iPoker network. However, before jumping the gun, we have to warn you - not all iPoker operators participating in The Festival Online opted in for the Missions. The operators who did are listed below.
Operators: Betfair, Betfred, Betsafe, Betsson, BoyleSports Poker, Champion Poker, Coolbet, Holland Casino Online, Meridianbet, Netbet, Novibet, Paddypower, Paf, Redstar.
Mission Types
Apart from knowing where and when the Missions are going down, you should also know there are five different mission types to go around. Below, you'll find the details of each one.
Low Mission
The first ones on the roster are Low Mission, running from August 3rd to August 19th. The goal you are working towards here is a coveted €55 Main Event ticket.
Still, keep in mind, you can only snag one ticket per participant for this mission.
High Missions
Looking to up the stakes?
The High Mission, also from August 3rd to August 19th, is your chance to earn points for a €250 ticket to event 25 of The Festival Online. Just like the Low Mission, there's a cap — only one ticket can be won per player.
Cash Game Mission
Then again, if cash games are your thing, this mission is for you!
From August 3rd to August 19th, see the flop 100 times at cash game tables with a minimum stake of €0.05/0.10 (heads-up tables don't count). Complete this task and win an entry to the €5,000 The Festival Freeroll on Tuesday, August 20th. And yes, you guessed it, only one ticket can be won per participant.
Knockout Mission
How about knocking out the competition?
Join the Knockout Mission by taking out 10 players in The Festival Online PKO tournaments. Succeed, and you'll earn an entry to the €5,000 The Festival Freeroll on Tuesday, August 20th. Remember, just one ticket is up for grabs per player in this mission.
Franke's 'Flip Flops' Mission
Last but certainly not least, we have Franke's 'Flip Flops' Mission. Play three of Franke's 'Flip Flop' satellites with a minimum buy-in of €5 to win a ticket to the exclusive €1,850 Package Flip Flop also scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th. Like the other missions, only one ticket can be earned per participant.
