PropBets, Andro Loos, Birthdays, Golf; Franke’s ingredients for an Article!

The next event of The Festival Series is around the corner, as on June 6th it will all kick off in Rozvadov. Martin 'Franke' von Zweigbergk, founder of The Festival, is already busy hyping up the Prop bets, another fantastic hobby of his. Whoever wants to challenge him strolling around on the golf course close to Rozvadov- The Registration Office is officially OPEN! And the first bet has been confirmed already! Volume II of Andro vs Franke, June 7th in Rozvadov!
Are you a fan of prop bets? Surely! Such kinds of bets are the usual in the world of poker, especially in the Highroller scene. In it, to WIN IT!
Prop bets vs Poker
In the world of high-stakes poker, the real action often happens away from the table—through outrageous prop bets that test endurance, willpower, and sometimes sanity. Erick Lindgren once walked 72 holes of golf in a single day in the Vegas heat, carrying his own clubs and shooting under 100 each round. Would be fun if someone would challenge Franke for this one! Andro Loos? Get yourself saddled up!
Dan Bilzerian biked nearly 300 miles from Las Vegas to L.A. in under 48 hours for $600,000, with some help from Lance Armstrong. If you remember, Mauritz Altikardes still needs to bike from Vienna to Bratislava as part of a prop bet with his friend Franke, who already managed to survive this hell of a ride.
Brothers Jaime and Matt Staples transformed their bodies over a year to weigh within one pound of each other, winning $150,000. Doug Polk and Jeff Gross froze in an ice bath duel, while Rich Alati spent 20 days in total darkness during a $100K isolation bet. Just to give you some ideas to challenge anyone within Rozvadov, although we adore the tiny town of Rozvadov, staying there 20 days in total darkness we would not recommend.
Franke Challenges Andro Loos - Volume I
Two old friends, Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk, the mastermind behind The Festival Series, and Andro Loos, former project manager of the Cash Game Festival, found themselves in a friendly face-off one quiet afternoon in Amsterdam when the topic of golf surfaced—specifically, Andro’s bold claim of being exceptionally good at it. Franke, whose golfing experience is limited to just three outings, the last being nearly 15 years ago, was off course interested right away. The banter turned into a debate about skill, ego, and who might be the true tiny Tiger Woods among them. Who would be victorious in this challenge? Estonian pride? Or the guy of many countries such as Finland, Sweden, Estonia, and perhaps a bit of Austrian?
Go, shawty, it's your birthday!
The news came to us that Andro Loos has his birthday! As our present to him, in written form, we came up with the idea to make him a true 'Roast'! Made by ChatGPT, as this is the current and perhaps the next, and the next, and the next, hype of the year. Here it goes:
Andro Loos is that one guy in poker who somehow always finds himself in the right place at the wrong time—or is it the wrong place at the right time? No one's really sure, not even Andro. As the former project manager of the Cashgame Festival, Andro spent more time managing “vibes” than he did managing logistics, though to be fair, his uncanny ability to sniff out a good side event (especially one involving drinks) is borderline supernatural. His poker face? Legendary—for all the wrong reasons. Imagine someone trying to bluff with a face that screams, “I just remembered I left the stove on.” That’s Andro.
Now, his friendship with Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk is like a long-running poker hand that neither of them knows how to fold. Franke is the chaotic genius of poker events—the guy who'd organize a world-class tournament in a sauna if you let him—while Andro is the calm(er) counterweight, usually the one trying to remind Franke that you can’t legally host a heads-up championship on a gondola in Venice. Their dynamic is basically poker’s answer to a buddy cop movie: Franke’s the wild card who bets with seven-deuce just to prove a point, and Andro’s the guy mumbling, “Why do I keep getting into these spots?”
Together, they’ve created poker events that are equal parts party, strategy, and beautiful disaster. But when it comes to golf, the banter hits new heights. Andro talks a big game, but Franke’s convinced the only thing Andro’s consistently hit is “reply all” on office emails. Their golf showdown might not make ESPN, but it will settle one thing: whether Andro’s swing is as questionable as his river bluffs.
