The Festival Online Opening Day: $10,000 Mystery Bounty
From March 19 to April 13, The Festival Online poker series takes place in the 888poker poker room. The festival, with tournament prize pools totaling over a million dollars, awarded a total of four titles on the opening day. The sweetest of them, a $109 buy-in tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000, was won by Maroco player emperor_H. Players from Germany, Romania, and Montenegro also enjoyed the thrill of victory on the Festival Online opening day.
The tournament series continues today with a tournament that is expected to have many all-in bets ($55 PLO, starting at 6:30 PM GMT), and a $33 Snap tournament for Hold'em fans starting at 7:00 PM GMT. We also remind everyone that on Thursday, one of the two multi-day tournaments will start - The Festival Online Texas Progressive Knockout (PKO) 8-max with a $160 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of $150,000. This tournament has a total of 17 starting flights, and the second day of the tournament will take place next week on March 27. All players who make it to the second day are guaranteed money place. The $109 tournament, which was supposed to last for one day, turned out to be so popular that after 9 players remained and the final table was determined, it was decided to stop the clock and continue the game the next day. The leaders at the final table were player "katekajie" from Montenegro and player "emperor_H" from Morocco, each with just slightly over 80 BBs, while the player with the smallest stack, player "YamaaKK" from Brazil, had only 12.5 BBs left.
On the final table, the players who started the day as chip leaders dominated, not allowing others to gain much ground and ultimately sailing through to the HU battle together. The Moroccan player, emperor_H came out on top, adding the accumulated bounties to his winnings and pocketing a total of $9,423 prize. Although there weren't many big bounties awarded at the final table, still three (katekajie, AvadoKedavra & andrew_flash) players ended up collecting four-figure sums in bounty payments. The winner of the day was UK-based player "Trendki11" who received the largest bounty of the day worth $10,000, despite ultimately finishing in 20th place.

Our streamer Jacob is also participating in The Festival Online tournament series, but unfortunately, he did not manage to achieve any cash finishes on the opening day. He also missed out on the Mystery Bounty bounties distributed in the golden envelopes. However, Jacob did manage to get close to the money in the $525 Highroller tournament and witnessed a player at his table receiving a $2000 bounty for eliminating another player.
