Dmitri Dudakov Wins The Hendon Mob Championship – Joakim Olin Hits a Hattrick and Much More on Day 2 of The Festival Rozvadov
Yesterday flew by at King's Resort in the Czech countryside town of Rozvadov. The second day of the week saw a new champion crowned in the prestigious The Hendon Mob Championship, and four winners in events varying from PLO4/5/6 to the Blackjack Tournament. Here is the rundown.

€175 The Hendon Mob Championship
A field of 36 progressed to Day 2 of The Hendon Mob Championships by means of Flights 1A-1C or the Flip and Go. Bust-outs came fast, and it wasn't long until the two-table redraw was reached. Someone had to miss out on the final table play, and that unlucky person was Roland Woudstra. He moved all in from the small blind for around 7 big blinds versus an under-the-gun open from Naum Barulia. The former had aces, and the latter had king-jack of clubs. The flop gave Barulia a flush draw and Woudstra two pair; the turn was a blank, but a club on the river sealed the Dutchman's fate and signalled the start of final table play.

Markus Hirttioe doubled up Nicolas Feuille before final table play, and the former was the first departure in final table play. It took an hour and the blinds to increase before Dong He hit the rail, followed by the Barulia. Unfortunately, the blogger was not there to see what happened due to the incredible variety of action on display at The Festival and a lot of ground to cover. However, at the break, half an hour prior, he was second, with only Dmitri Dudakov ahead of him in the counts.

Mykhailo Lohvinenko was on short-stack duties and was left chipless half a level later. The big blinds were taking their toll on the shorter stacks, with "NOE26" and "Assou Ekottu" falling in quick succession. It wasn't much longer until Day 1A chip-leader Nicolas Feuille fell by the wayside, ending a great run.

Dudakov came into heads-up play with a substantial advantage, but his opponent, Roberto Dossi, doubled in one of, if not the first, hand of heads-up play. He made a set of Queens against Dudakov's Ace-Queen to double up in a preflop all-in.
However, it wasn't long until the chips found the middle again. Dossi moved all in on the flop of 7 5 3 with A 5 . Dmitri Dudakov called with 7 4 . The K turn changed nothing, and the Q river gave Dudakov the title and a package to the THMC in Cape Town, South Africa, worth €1,600.
Dudakov is a satellite specialist. He flew into Vilnius for previous Festival Weekend, as he won a €555 Main Event PKO ticket in a satellite the night before the start of the weekend. The same applied here, he won a €1,600 package to be here in Rozvadov and decided to fire THMC. It would be no surprise to see him make a deep run in the upcoming €550 Main Event.

Barrie Dear was in the field to defend his title that he won in this very tournament last year in Rozvadov. He was running hot to start with, winning three out of four splits against the dealer and other players. Despite his best efforts, he couldn't mount a successful defence.
