Leknes, O’Donnell, Ashraf, and Lovelock Win The Festival Series Nottingham Titles on Day 3

The third day of The Festival Series Nottingham not only featured the first of four opening flights of the Main Event but also produced four different champions.

Norwegian poker beast Tobias Leknes shipped the £120 Knockout, Sean O'Donnell took down the £230 Half and Half, Colin Lovelock won the £120 PokerListings Championship, and Waheed Ashraf won the £120 Blackjack Tournament.

In addition, The Festival Series £450 Main Event featured its first of four opening flights with Ali Ayub parlaying a 200,000 opening stack into 3,420,000 in chips.

Meanwhile, Marcin Niedzwiecki and Jon Kyte each won a Cash Game Challenge but are still behind The Festival Series founder Martin "Franke" von Zweigbergk on the leaderboard after Franke won a whopping 628 big blinds good for £3,140 in Tuesday's £2/£5 PLO live stream. The winner of the Cash Game Challenge will be awarded a €1,600 package to The Festival Series Malta at Portomaso Casino from May 15-21.

Waheed Ashraf Wins the Blackjack Tournament

The Festival Series is more than just a poker festival as casino games are on tap as well. You may think why would I want to play against the house? We can understand your thought process but rest assured in our casino tournaments you are playing against other players to try to get a big enough stack to move onto the next round.

Last night, Waheed Ashraf defeated a field of 35 players in the £120 Blackjack event to win the £995 top prize. The final four players each agreed to a deal before Ashraf went on to win the event.

The Blackjack Tournament is growing in popularity and attracted 35 entries to create a £3,395 prize pool. Here is a look at the payouts:
