Mixed Games, Antwerp and Festival Vibes: Why You Shouldn’t Miss The Festival Club Tour at Pokahnights

Mixed Games, Antwerp and Festival Vibes: Why You Shouldn’t Miss The Festival Club Tour at Pokahnights

This July, poker players will have the opportunity to experience something completely different in the heart of Belgium. From July 14 to July 19, Pokahnights Antwerp will host the first-ever Festival Club Tour, bringing a full week of mixed games action, affordable buy-ins, workshops, possible community activities, and the unique atmosphere that not only mixed games bring to the table, but also The Festival.

Event: The Festival Club Tour by Pokahnights Antwerp

It doesn't matter if you are already a mixed games fan or someone who has only ever played Hold'em tournaments, this week is designed to be accesible, fun, and welcoming to everyone, for hold’em players and mixed games players. Martin 'Franke' von Zweigbergk, as well as Melvin Schroen, and perhaps a couple other of The Festival crew, will be present to juice up the games!

What is Pokahnights?

Founded in 2009, Pokahnights has become one of Belgium's most established poker communities. Based in Antwerp, the club has built its reputation through years of providing enjoyable poker experiences for recreational and experienced players alike.

While Hold'em has traditionally been at the heart of the action, Pokahnights has always embraced the social side of poker. That makes it the perfect location for The Festival Club Tour, where the focus extends far beyond the tables.

Players can expect a relaxed atmosphere, friendly competition, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow poker enthusiasts throughout the week.

Learn Mixed Games Without Breaking the Bank

One of the biggest attractions of the Festival Club Tour is its accessibility. With buy-ins of up to just €50, players can discover a variety of poker formats without taking on significant financial risk. The goal is simple: make mixed games fun, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone.

To help newcomers get started, educational workshops will be held before every tournament. These sessions will explain the rules, basic strategies, and key concepts of each format, allowing players to sit down with confidence and enjoy the experience from the very first hand.

The workshops will be led by mixed games specialist Wouter Schuurbiers, a familiar face to many regular Festival players and now an important member of the Pokahnights team.

The Festival & Pokahnights - Life is more than just Poker

The Festival has always been about bringing people together, and Antwerp provides the perfect backdrop for that mission.

Outside the poker room, players can explore one of Belgium's most vibrant cities. From historic architecture and beautiful squares to excellent restaurants and lively bars, there is plenty to enjoy once the cards are put away.

Throughout the week, players will have opportunities to gather as a group, enjoy meals together, discover the city, and create memories away from the tables. These moments are often what make Festival events so memorable.

Poker may bring everyone together, but the friendships and experiences are what keep people coming back.
