The Festival Club Tour Begins Today at Pokahnights Antwerp
The wait is over folks! Today marks the official start of the very first The Festival Club Tour by Pokahnights Antwerp, bringing a full week of mixed games, affordable poker, and plenty of Hold'em tournaments available as well, all in the heart of Belgium.
From July 14 to July 19, Pokahnights will become the meeting place for mixed games enthusiasts from the BeNeLux (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg), and everyone that loves the social side of poker. Whether you joining for one event or planning to stay or come for the entire week, today is the perfect moment to be part of something new.
At The Festival Series events itself, the buy-ins are very affordable already, and make it happen that players who have never tried out mixed games, actually can give it a chance. At Pokahnights, the venue which is hosting this event, buy-ins are always capped on €50, this because the law in Belgium limits poker clubs in the entire country. This makes it event more accessible for Hold'em players who always wanted to try out one of the more 'niche' games in poker.
Day 1 - Opening the Week Strong!
The opening event of the Festival Club Tour Pokahnights is Open Face Chinese Pineapple (OFC). Before the tournament gets underway at 19:00 local time, players will have the opportunity to attend a free workshop led by mixed games specialist Wouter Schuurbiers, making it easy for newcomers to learn the rules and feel comfortable before taking a seat.
Don't worry if you've never played OFC before. That's exactly what the Festival Club Tour is all about: discovering new poker variants in a fun, welcoming environment without the pressure of high buy-ins. The OFC tournament has a buy-in of €40. During the games, you will find out that your opponents actually will help you understand the game as well.

Traditional Hold'em Tournaments
For players who prefer traditional poker, there's more good news. Tonight also features two Hold'em tournaments with the Lucky Sevens (7-max) tournament starting at 19:00 local time, and the Famous Fives tournament (500k starting stack, full ring) at 21:30 local time. Both will have a buy-in of €35.
We hope to welcome plenty of familiar faces from previous Festival events, including players travelling from Belgium, the Netherlands, and perhaps even further afield. It's the perfect opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet new players, and kick off the week together.
