The Festival Weekend Heads to Riga This September
The Festival Weekend is heading to Riga from September 10–13, bringing four days of epic poker action to Olympic Voodoo Casino. Although you're used to seeing mixed games at our events, this time the spotlight is on Hold'em and Omaha. But don't worry, creative and unique formats are still our specialty, even without mixed games!
We have already visited two Olympic Casino venues in the Baltics. Our first Festival Weekend stop was in Vilnius, followed by our second stop in Tallinn, where we will return later this year for a full Festival event. Now it's time for the third and final Festival Weekend edition of 2026, taking place in Latvia's capital city, Riga.
Highlights of The Festival Weekend Riga 2026
The highlight of the festival is the €555 Mystery Bounty Main Event. Players will have three starting flights, with Day 1A on Thursday, Day 1B on Friday, and a Turbo Day 1C on Friday evening. Those who make it through will return for Day 2 on Saturday to battle for the title and the mystery bounties.
For players looking to qualify at a lower price, satellites will run on Thursday and Friday, each offering 2 guaranteed Main Event seats. There is also a satellite on Sunday for The Festival Tallinn Main Event, with two €550 tickets guaranteed.
Away from the Main Event, there is a wide mix of tournaments throughout the weekend. Pot-Limit Omaha fans can enjoy both the PLO4/PLO5 Bomb Pot event on Thursday and the PLO4/PLO5 PKO on Friday. Saturday features a Dealers Choice Pot-Limit tournament, giving players the chance to play several Omaha formats, including Big O and PLO Hi-Lo.
Casino Games & Fun Formats
No Festival stop would be complete without a few unique events. Thursday evening features a Blackjack Tournament, while Friday night brings back the popular OmahaJack. On Saturday, players can take on the NLH 7-2 Estonia Special (Incl. INES rules), followed by the €200 NLH Big Bounty in the evening. The festival wraps up on Sunday with the relaxed NLH Sunday Brunch, where players also have the chance to win a package to The Festival Tallinn 2026.
