The Hendon Mob Championship winner Haik Tougu has taken a narrow lead in the Player of the Series race, with 81 points, 77 of which he banked with his win. However, the Estonian is only 2 points ahead of Moreno Rutten from Netherlands, who has cashed in four events so far at Kings Casino, Rozvadov.
Four of the players in the current top ten are those who made the final table of The Hendon Mob Championship with Omaha Masters winner Oleksandr Sadovyi sneaking into the top ten.
Maureen Bloechlinger currently sits in 5th place with 57 points, having made final tables in both the Friday and Saturday Texas Madness events. She’s unlikely to challenge for the €1,600 Malta package, as she has already returned home to Switzerland. But its only an eight hour drive, so we won’t rule out the possibility that she returns.
With six events of The Festival in Rozvadov now completed, here’s an early peek at the Player of the Series leaderboard.

Stefano Bertoldi was all in for 6,000 in the big blind with the blinds at 3,000/6,000.
Torsten Rink called from under the gun, as did the €150 PLO Championship winner, Horst Boeschen.
The J K J 6 8 runout was checked down by the two non-all-in players. Boeschen believed that Bertoldi had the winner as he tabled 10 7 . Bertoldi had a slightly better holding with 10 9 but it was Rink’s Q 10 for queen-high, which was good enough to secure the pot and Bertoldi’s bounty.
