2025 The Festival Rozvadov Day 7

With five events concluding on Thursday, its all change at the top of the leaderboard in the Player of the Series race. Finland’s Kare Hallamaa booked two third place finishes, in the Blakjack and the PLO 4/5/6 events and has now has a 38 point lead over fellow Finn Ville Hakala.

Hakala, who won the PLO 4/5/6, had been in 4th place, but this moves him into clear second place, leapfrogging Horst Günter Böschen and Moreno Rutten. Nils Doverklint who finished 9th in the PLO 4/5/6 moves up to 5th place.

There are also two new entries in the top 10. Debuting at number 6 is Sascha Manns, following his 3rd place finish in the Thursday Texas Turbo Midnight Madness. Barrie Dear, winner of the Blackjack tournament sneaks into the list in 10th place. Franke sits just outside the top 10, 2 points adrift of Barrie, on 92 points.

There may be two players from Finland at the top, but this race is still a long away from the Finnish line.

Maarten Mol is the bubble boy in the Crazy Pineapple. The field has quickly whittled down to 10.

Only 16 remain of the 111 total entrants who entered King’s Casino in Rozvadov. In due course, we will find out who will be the victim of the bubble.

Play in the H.O.R.S.E has resulted in a seven-way chop and a famous Franke Flip for the remaining €300 and the title. Florian Wittich won the flip and took the remainder of the money and the title! Below are the payouts. (BERSERK is pictured above)

Siarhei Narozhny was the victim of the bubble in the H.O.R.S.E here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov. The remaining seven are now in the money and all will be keen to take down the title.

TURKEY will add more points to his leaderboard tally, as will Narozhny himself with this deep run. The Boss Martin “Franke” von Zweighbergk has secured his fourth festival cash.

The final table has been assembled here in Rozvadov for the solo mixed game tournament of the day at King’s Resort. Below is the lineup. The Boss still remains at the table, but is fairly short-stacked.

The payouts have been announced in the Crazy Pineapple tournament. Only 33 remain of the total 111 entrants.

Poker media professional and all-around super Swede Christoffer Karlen has taken to the felt on his day off here at King’s Resort here in Rozvadov.

He’s joined a field of 45 in the tournament, which features 15-minute levels and unlimited re-entries for the first 8 levels.

Ville Hakala has secured his first Festival win this series and his fourth cash in total here in Rozvadov. He beat Leslie Smith heads-up, winning €3,060 in the process.

This is how the winning hand played out: Smith called in the small blind. Hakala raised to pot in the big blind and Smith called.

Smith then led out of turn on the flop of A K 2 before checking. Hakala asked the dealer if Smith’s bet still stands if he checks. Hakala then checked and Smith put in the rest of his chips, around 140,000 into a pot of 420,000. Hakala called.

Hakala had Q Q 7 J and Smith had A 2 5 8 . Smith was ahead with top and bottom pair and the 7 changed nothing.

However Hakala spiked a set on the Q river to finish the tournament.

Only Leslie Smith and Ville Hakala remain in the 4/5/6 PLO.

Smith has a mountain to climb, as the chip deficit stands at around 15:1. However as we saw last night in the 8-Game, anything can happen here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov!

A field of 43 unique players has been whittled down to 16 here at the King’s Resort in Rozvadov.

Amongst the runners is The Festival founder Martin “Franke” von Zweighbergk. Can he find his fourth cash of The Festival? Only seven will be paid. Below are the payouts.

The second flight to The Festival Main Event, 1B, has seen a total of 108 entrants take to the tables here at Kings’s Resort in Rozvadov. A field of 74 remain.

There are five levels left of registration, and players receive a 50,000 starting stack for their buy-in. The next level is Level 6 with blinds of 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante, which equates to 50 big blinds.

Kristjan Laas and Markus Drunagel are out of the 4/5/6 PLO in seventh and sixth, respectively. Hallamaa is set to add to his total leaderboard points haul so far with yet another deep run here in King’s Resort in Rozvadov at The Festival Series 2025. Who will take down the title?

Thirty-seven remain of the thirty-nine total entrants who took to the felt at 2 p.m. this afternoon here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov. Two levels of registration remain, and the field contains the likes of Sascha Manns, Horst Boschen, and Allan Arjut.

One player had to miss out on the money here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, and unfortunately for Andrea Di Giovanni, it was him. The remaining players are now in the money. Below are the payouts.

A further four events that qualify for the Rozvadov Player of the Series race were completed on Wednesday, after which three players have emerged as front runners in the race for the €1,600 package. Horst Günter Böschen took third place in the 8-Game, propelling him to the top of the chart, on 114 points.

He is just 2 points ahead of Kare Hallamaa, who also made a final table yesterday, taking 6th in the Wednesday Night Turbo. Moreno Rutten drops back to third, once again all the additional points he earned yesterday were only participation points. Just outside the top ten is Sascha Manns, who took second place in the Wednesday Night Turbo. He has 73 points, just one point below tenth place.
