Only 11 will be paid of the 23 remaining in the Sviten Special field. Amongst the field is flaghunter Koen Roos, and a duo of Swedes from The Festival, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk and Andreas “Wiseguy” Hoglund.

Here are the counts from the progressing players from 1A of The Hendon Mob Championship. The first member of the millionaire club (chip-wise) is Nicolas Feuille, who bagged a strong stack of 1,113,000.

Markus Hirttioe has fallen victim to the bubble at King’s Resort in Rozvadov. The remaining 14 have locked up a mincash of €350, but only 9 will make it through to Day 2. Meanwhile, in 1B, 100 total entrants have been made to the second flight of the day. Registration remains open in 1B, so expect the field to grow before registration closes.

One more player will go home empty-handed as 14 of the 15 remaining will make the min cash in The Hendon Mob Championship 1A. Of the 15, 9 will make Day 2.

The Festival founder, Martin “Franke” von Zweigbergk, takes no prisoners. He was all in and at risk on the flop of A Q 5 before the first discard phase. His opponent, Ralph Pittroff, discarded one and got the K face up. He declined and took another face down. Franke discarded one, but took the 6 . The players then showed down, and Franke had a six high straight in hand with 6 5 4 3 2 . He also had a gutshot on board.

Pittroff, who entered by mistake, had two pair in hand and a set on board with Q Q 9 9 10 . The 9 turn gave Franke a flush draw to boot, and he hit it on the 9 river to scoop the full pot.

Here are the counts of the 8 players who have made day two. Christophe Stammet leads the way currently, with Siarhei Narozhny being his nearest contender.

Of the 87 total entrants who bought into The Hendon Mob Championship 1A, only 15% will be in the money, meaning 14 players will receive a min cash of €350. However, of that 14, only 9% will progress to Day 2 and lock up the same min cash.

There is a bonus for bagging the biggest stack. The chip leader of each flight will gain a €550 ticket to the €550 NLH Main Event, which will see a whopping €500,000 prize pool be up for grabs.

A field of 50 has been taken to the felts in the €150 Sviten Special. Having played the game for the first time today in 1A of the Mixed Games Main Event TORSES, Richard Freitas has taken to the standalone tournament after a successful bag for Day 2 in the marquee Mixed Game event of the week. Martin Bertschi, Evert Bos and Barrie Dear all played 1A, and this trio are taking to the felt for the second time today.

The Hendon Mob’s very own Roland Boothby is taking to the split-pot streets for the first time, and The Festival team is represented by Andreas “Wiseguy” Hoglund.

Two players have won tickets to the €125 Blackjack tournament via a €25 Hospitality Flip. Dimitrios Chalasa of Greece and Maksim Belomestnoi of Estonia were the two lucky winners! Congratulations to them.

The Festival founder, Martin “Franke von Zweigbergk, has fallen short of a Day 2 bag in 1A of the TORSES Main Event. The chip counts of the 8 progressing players will be out soon.

Players are taking to the tables in the €150 Sviten Special. A total of 19 Mixed Game enthusiasts will be battling it out in the split-pot streets in Sweden’s most important export since Ikea.

In a hand of 2-7 Triple Draw, Richard Freitas opened to 8,000 with limits at 2,000/4,000. Franke clicked it to 12,000 from the blinds. Freitas called. Franke stood pat, and Freitas drew two.

Franke bet 4,000, and Freitas called. He stood pat again, and Freitas again drew two. Franke bet 8,000, and Freitas called again. Franke pat once more, and Freitas drew one. Franke was then all in for 6,500. Freitas folded.

Franke then tabled 5 7 8 10 A .

Only 10 are left in 1A of the Mixed Games Main Event TORSES. The field will play two more levels before the players bag ahead of tomorrow’s Day 2.

After all seven streets in a Stud Hi-Lo hand, Martin Bertschi was sent packing at the hands of Richard Freitas. He made the nuts with A-2-3-4-5 for a straight and the nut low, which bested Bertschi’s trip tens and no low. Freitas scooped a monster pot and appears to be the tournament chip lead.

Pavel Kim and Jens Voertmann have become the first departures in the Mixed Games TORSES Main Event. 13 remain in the field, and registration will close after Level 10.

Remarkably, of the 15 entrants who have taken to the felt in 1A of the Mixed Games Main Event TORSES, 15 still remain in play to make Day 2.

Play for the day will finish after 12 Levels have elapsed. Currently, Level 8 is in play, and breaktime was reduced due to the players’ desires to play this evening’s Sviten Special from as close to the start time as possible.

Online package winners are invited to join their soon-to-be tablemates and members of The Festival Team at the bar for Welcome Drinks at 7 p.m.

Naturally, Welcome Drinks will lead to flips at 7.30 p.m. approximately at the tables by the buffet area. Up for grabs are tickets to the €125 Blackjack tournament taking place tomorrow at 7 p.m. Flips cost €25 a pop and are rake-free. Come and get involved!

Over 50 players have taken to the tables at King’s Resort in Rozvadov in pursuit of a stack for Day 2 of the prestigious The Hendon Mob Championships.

Many nationalities are represented, and as expected, there is a strong Swedish presence at the tables. Bo Alm, Joakim Olin, and Bo Lindahl are just a trio of Swedes in attendance. Former Main Event Champ Victor den Houting remains in contention to add a Hendon Mob Championship title to his Festival Series resume.

Martin Bertschi rivered quads in Sviten Special to chop against Evert Bos’s trip queens in hand. A few hands later, Bertschi made Broadway in hand to quarter Daniel Kaffka. Both players had the same straight on the board, but Bertschis Five Card Draw hand won him the majority of the pot.

A couple of Festival Series regulars have joined the 1A field for the Mixed Games Main Event TORSES. Barrie Dear, friend of The Festival and Malta Mixed Games Main Event Champion 2025 and Open Face Chinese wizard, Mati Pirn.

The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) is underway here at King’s Resort in Rozvadov. Currently, 19 are in the field in the opener for the prestigious world-famous event.

One of the notables in the field is former Malta Main Event Champion Victor den Houting, who will be looking to add another trophy to his Festival collection.

In a single raise pot preflop, Martin Bertschi opened from the button, and Richard Freitas called in the big blind. On the flop of 3 4 7 , Freitas checked to Bertschi, who fired out a quick bet. Freitas folded.

“Oh no” exclaimed Bertschi, who tabled 5 6 for a flopped straight flush. A few hands later, the same two opponents made it to the river and chopped up the pot. Bertschi had a queen’s full of kings in hand, and Freitas had tens full of nines on the board.

After a small delay, six players will be taking to the felt in 1A of the Mixed Games Main Event TORSES. The field will continue to grow as more players arrive in Rozvadov for The Festival, so expect a field full of faces old and new.

A total of 34 entrants have been made in the €30 satellite to The Hendon Mob Championships. The satellite represents great value with a generous guarantee of 16 tickets worth €150 each; it is well worth getting involved if you’re a No Limit Hold’em player.

The Festival Series team has rolled into Rozvadov for seven fun-filled and action-packed days of poker. Coming to you live from Europe’s palace of poker, King’s Resort, in the Czech countryside, here is a look at what’s in store for the opening days’ action as the cards are about to be dealt.

€550 Mixed Games Main Event TORSES – €20,000 GTD

The marquee Mixed Game event of the week will be the €550 Mixed Games Main Event TORSES. The beautiful blend of 2-7 Triple Draw, Omaha Hi-Lo, Razz, Seven Card Stud, Stud Hi-Lo and Sviten Special will attract a field of Mixed Game enthusiasts from across the continent and further afield. The demand and interest for Mixed Games has only increased in recent years, and The Festival Series has, and always will, represent the Mixed Games scene. Last time out in Rozvadov, the game was HORSES instead of TORSES, and saw N.J.44 win the title and €5,647 in a three-way chop with two more nicknamed players.

Blinds run for 30 minutes on Day 1A and 1B, before increasing to 40 minutes on the second and final day. Players have the option for unlimited reentries for the first 10 levels. The tournament will be underway at 12 p.m. local time.

€175 The Hendon Mob Championship – €50,000 GTD

Another Festival favourite and schedule staple returns to Rozvegas in the form of The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC). The world’s largest online poker database returns with a great multiday tournament to get involved with. The Festival, THMC, and King’s Resort have collaborated successfully before, with last year’s installment garnering a world-record field of 2,417! The winner last year was Haik Tougu, who banked €51,850 of the €304,542 total prize pool.

This year, there are three starting flights and a flip-and-go for this two-day event. Players have access to unlimited re-entries for the first 10 levels, and blinds run for 30 minutes in 1A and 1B, and 15 minutes in 1C. Additionally, if you would like to get in to one of the Day 1 flights at a discount, there is a €30 satellite available bright and early at 11 a.m. local time today, as well as one at 3 p.m. for the same price.

€150 Sviten Special

The Mixed Game scene’s newest darling graces the felts of King’s Resort in the evening session. Last time out at The Festival Rozvadov, 61 entered the then €250 buy-in event. This time around, there is a €100 discount, as well as unlimited re-entries for the first 8 levels. Each level lasts for 25 minutes in duration.

Sviten Special is a split pot game with a discard feature. Half the pot goes to the best 5 Card Draw Hand, and the other half goes to the best PLO hand (two cards in hand three from board). Additionally, there is a discard phase postflop, before the first round of postflop betting. If a player decides to take one card, they get one card face up. Players can choose to accept or decline this card. If they decline they get one more face down. Players can discard 0-5 of their cards.
