Paul Craciunas called in the small blind. Babubarsch raised to 1,400,000. Craicunas responded with a four-bet jam, and Babubarsch called. He was dominated with K 9 against Craciunas’ A 9 .

The J 10 2 A 4 runout sealed the deal for Craciunas, and he secured his third Festival title over the week. All three podium finishers walk away with their largest career cashes. Below are the final table payouts.

Babubarsch said after his runner-up finish, “It is my biggest career score, it’s very special because it’s hard to get to a final table. I play a lot of festivals in Rozvadov, but this has been one of the most entertaining ones, plenty of action and lots of tournaments. I will be coming to The Festival again.”

Babubarsch opened to 650,000 from the button. Paul Craciunas defended the big blind. The A 6 Q flop was checked around. On the 9 , Craciunas check-raised to 2,300,000 over an initial bet of 600,000. Babubarsch called. On the 3 river, moved all in, and Babubarsch folded. Craciunas is now in a commanding lead over his opponent.

Paul Craciunas has taken pot after pot on the Main Event final table and now holds a 2:1 advantage over his opponent.

David Vesely opened from the button to 500,000. Babubarsch three-bet from the big blind to 1,200,000. Vesely called. Babubarsch led for 900,000 on the flop of K J 7 . Babubarsch led again for 1,700,000 on the 3 turn. Vesely called again. Babubarsch asked for it all on the 4 river, wagering 6,000,000, enough to put Vesely all in. He deployed a few time banks before calling with Q J .

Babubarsch flopped top set with K K and Vesely hit the payout desk.

David Vesely opened from the button to 500,000 with the blinds at 125,000/250,000. Babubarsch defended the big blind. He check-called a bet of 325,000 on the flop of K J 2 . On the 6 turn, he check-called again, this time a bet of 1,000,000. Babubarsch led the 4 river and was snap-called. His 6 4 was no match for Vesely’s K J .

The final three players have done a deal! The players will be playing for The Festival Series trophy and the remaining €16,200.

Two hero-calls went awry for Grzegorz Flak, and he is on the downtrend at King’s Resort. He now occupies the bottom of the chip count, having lost decent pots to David Vesely and Babubarsch.

A few hands later, Flak was at risk with K Q for 2,425,000, around 12 big blinds, versus Babubarsch. Ace-high was good at showdown after the 2 4 10 7 7 runout. Below are the counts.

Paul Craciunas moved all in from the button with his chiplead stack. Florin Bilan called for 5 big blinds and was at risk with A 7 . Craciunas had Q 3 . Craciunas hit a three on the J 3 2 K K runout to take play four-handed.

Paul Craciunas opened to 700,000 from the small blind. Rama Prema moved all in for 3,225,000 from the big blind. Cracuinas called with 8 8 . Prema had 9 9 .

Craciunas was behind but took the lead instantly on the 8 8 K , flopping quads. Prema was dead on the 5 turn and the 2 river was a mere formality.

Zdravko Lamot was all in for a big blind and a half with 9 8 . Rama Prema called from the big blind with K Q . The 9 5 K A 7 runout was clean from Prema and Lamot was the latest departure.

Paul Craciunas attempted to raise preflop but didn’t make it enough. He attempted to open to 225,000, but with blinds at 100k/200k, his raise was counted as a call. Zdravko Lamot called in the small blind and Florin Bilan checked his option in the big blind.

Lamot led for 275,000 on 6 J 9 . Bilan folded and Craciunas called. Lamot the 8 for 500,000. Craciunas called again. On the 4 , Lamot bet 900,000. Craciunas then moved all in, and Lamot deployed the majority of his time banks before making the call.

Lamot was dead with two pair J 8 and Craciunas had the nuts with A 10 .

Start of the day chipleader Grzegorz Flak has retaken the chiplead here at King’s Resort Rozvadov.

David Vesely moved all in for 12 big blinds from the small blind versus a button open from Babubarsch, who made the call. He had A 6 against Vesely’s A 8 .

Vesely made a ten-high straight across the 7 7 9 J 10 runout to secure the double up.

Grzegorz Flak opened to 325,000 from under the gun with the blinds at 80,000/160,000. Enrico Falco moved all in for 2,570,000 from early position. Action folded around and Flak called.

The 10 8 10 6 J was clean for the cowboys, and the start of the day chipleader added Falco’s 16 big blinds to his stack.

The Festival caught up with professional DOTA player Brian Canavan. He has 169,000 subscribers on YouTube and an 11,000 MMR (matchmaking ranking), putting him in the top 1% of players globally.

“The biggest hand happened in Limit Hold’em. I had ace-king, Siarhei had ace-eight. We both flopped a pair, but he rivered trips. I definitely felt the pressure; he is a very high-level player, and even though it was my first time playing against him, it was clear that he is an experienced Mixed Games player.”

When comparing poker and DOTA together, he said, “DOTA isn’t much like the Mixed Games, it’s more like No Limit Hold’em.”

Babubarsch opened to 130,000 with the blinds at 60,000/120,000. Ariel Kayat defended the big blind off a short stack. He moved all in for 800,000 on the A K J flop with Q 8 . Babubarsch called.

Kayat couldn’t hit a flush or a straight across the 5 turn and 4 river.

Zdravko Lamot was all in and at risk for 1,845,000 in the big blind versus Paul Craciunas. Lamot had A Q and Craciunas had 10 10 . He took down the crucial pot with two pair across the K Q 6 K 4 runout to secure a crucial double.

Here are the counts of the final nine players in the Main Event. Dual The Festival Rozvadov champion Paul Craciunas is atop the counts and will be looking for a third title to his haul this week.

Rama Prema opened from the cutoff before Raul Sav moved all in from the small blind for around 15 big blinds. Prema called and flopped bottom set with 7 7 on 7 9 J . The 6 turn changed nothing and the 6 river gave Prema a full house.

RAFA’s final blind has gone to BabuBarsch, who opened under the gun and took the pot uncontested. It is now final table bubble time.

Rama Prema opened to 205,000 with blinds at 50,000/100,000 from under the gun. Enrico Falco three-bet from the big blind to 650,000. Prema called.

Falco then led the 8 7 3 for 670,000. Prema deployed multiple time banks before folding 10 10 . He dodged the bullets of Falco, who had A A .

Action was picked up with THE FISH four-bet jamming all in on 2 9 10 against Zdravko Lamot. “You have jacks, right?” said Lamot, trying to get information from his table draw. “Queens, nines, maybe flush draw.” Lamot was met with the sound of silence in reply.

Lamot deployed two time banks before calling. He had A 10 , and THE FISH had 4 4 . There was no drama across the 8 turn and 8 river and THE FISH was sent back into the pond.

On the feature table, Raul Sav was all in and at risk versus Rama Prema and Florni Bilan. Sav tripled with A Q against Bilan’s 10 10 and Prema’s Q Q across the 7 A 6 3 3 runout to survive on the feature table.

Csaba Havasi was eliminated on the outer table to take the field down to 13.

Florin Bilan opened to 160,000 from under the gun with the blinds at 40,000/80,000. Babubarsch called on the button before Maurizio Pisciotti jammed 1,615,000 from the small blind. Bilan called, and Babubarsch folded. Bilan had Q Q and Pisciotti had Q 10 .

The 9 2 A flop gave Pisciotti a flush draw, and even more outs became available on the J turn. However, he couldn’t hit on the 3 river, and he was sent to the payout desk.

On the feature table, RAFA’s stack has been left unattended since the start of today’s Main Event play. He has not yet played a hand and has had some blinds taken by his tablemates. If you’re reading this RAFA, come and play!

Oleksii Lubnin deployed two time banks before moving all in from under the gun for 6 big blinds with Q J . Florin Bilan called with A 7 from the big blind. The 2 K 7 5 8 was clean for Bilan, and he eliminated the online qualifier from the feature table. Giovanni Gaiulli has departed on the outer table, leaving 14 players remaining.

Paul Craciunas is chipping up here at King’s Resort Casino on the outer table. The Romanian is looking to make it a hat-trick of wins this week, having won the €350 Open Face Chinese and the €175 €25,000 guarantee event in the same evening.

Two of our online qualifiers have made the final 16 of the Main Event. One of whom is Oleksii Lubnin, a Ukranian national who calls Estonia his home. Currently, Lubnin occupies that bottom spot in the chip counts, but as we know, anything can happen in poker.

David Vesely is the second player. Representing the home nation Czechia, Vesely sits in 13th spot with 1,115,000. Vesely has a strong connection to The Festival Series, as he co-owns pokertime.cz, a media partner with The Festival Series. Both players have locked up €3,260 for their efforts, but of course, both will be looking to spin up and go all the way.
