Have You Completed Any Missions Yet on iPoker?
The campaign for The Festival Rozvadov is in full swing on the iPoker Network, that includes approcimately 30 different online poker operators. Every single week, several packages and Main Event seats. As you might have recognized by know: The iPoker Network is THE PLACE TO BE when it comes to qualifying online for live poker tournaments around Europe.
In this article, I would like to explain to you a couple benefits of this campaign, that some of you might not even are aware of. However, there is still plenty of time to get hold of these benefits, and perhaps they will be leading to a package or a Main Event seat.
Revenue Missions
Revenue missions are available on every single online poker site out there, it's hard to miss. It's one of the main 'rakeback' features that an online poker site offers, and they come in all shapes and forms. At iPoker, the revenue missions are connected to online campaigns. It doesn't matter if it's for an online series such as The Festival Online, for online qualifiers for live events, such as the qualifier campaign for The Festival Rozvadov that is running now, or for any generic iPoker campaign of a series that they are running themselves.
The revenue missions are quite simple to understand: First of all, you need to make sure you are opted-in for the mission at the designated spot for mission features. Every mission shows exactly what you need to do, to be able to complete the mission. Keep in mind, regardless of the amount of operators that are all connected to the same network of iPoker, there can be a difference in what needs to be done to complete the mission. Every operator has the possibility to adjust the standard given requirements for the mission.
A little more information
Most of these missions are connected to the amount of rake you pay for tournaments, cash games, etc. So for example, to win X ticket, you need accumulate 2000 points, that is equal to 200 euros in rake paid. It's not specifically related to that online campaign, you can simply accumulate rake through any game of poker that is being offered. If that's heads up sit 'n goes, cash games, tournaments, satellites, or spin and goes, that's all up to you.
The Festival Revenue Missions
Now, for example, The Festival online qualifiers have two missions attached to it. With one of them, you can get yourself an online qualifier ticket worth 15 euros, and for the other one, you can get yourself an online qualifier ticket worth 100 euros.
If you look up the qualifier tree of The Festival in your poker lobby, you can see that the Day 1 Satellites are valued at a buy-in of 100 euros. So that's the top prize of this mission. And this tournament, if you survive the opening flight, you can start concentrating yourselves on the Sunday Final, where this Sunday a whopping 5 packages worth 1850 euros each, will be handed out guaranteed. As it looks now, it will crush that guarantee once again.
The easiest mission for The Festival is the one where you can collect a 15 euro online qualifier ticket. With this ticket, you can jump straight in the qualifier tree, and sign up for any of the available 15 euro qualifiers, that guarantee between 2-4 tickets for the 100 euro qualifier.
If we take one of the operators as an example who offers these missions, then it will look like this:
- 15 euro ticket --> Accumulate 2,000 points and receive the online tournament ticket.
- 100 euro ticket --> Accumulate 10,000 points and receive the online tournament ticket.
Players Are Often Not Aware Of The Value Spots
It's a common thing in the onine poker world, and even in the live poker world. Poker players are mostly not even aware of such rakeback value moments. Despite organisers and online brands promoting them throrougly, it often doesn't reach the player. As well, we are poker players ourselves, often players think like 'ohh no, i don't want to sign up for that, because it might cost something to sign up for it'. Well, let me tell you this: The revenue missions are completely free to sign up for. Of course, you need to accumulate rake to be able to complete the mission, but if you are going to play online anyways, why not get that extra value out of it, right?
