iPoker Rozvadov Campaign Recap: 38 Packages Awarded… What Just Happened?!
During the past five weeks, the campaign for online satellites on the iPoker Network returned once again. Before each stop, this campaign will return, and for the upcoming The Festival stop, a total of 17 packages were guaranteed, as well as 15 Main Event seats for The Festival Main Event at the King's Resort, that goes with a guaranteed prize pool of €500,000!
First of all, we would like to thank all players that have participated in this campaign. It has been an absolute blast from the very first cards that were dealt, until the very final all-in moment. The iPoker Road to Rozvadov campaign has officially come to an end, and I think it’s fair to say that absolutely nobody expected things to explode the way they did over these past five weeks.
Apparently the you all looked at that number and collectively decided:
“Yeah… let’s completely destroy that.”
Because after five consecutive Sundays of packed fields and smashed guarantees, the final numbers are honestly kind of ridiculous:
38 Packages Awarded
Yes. Thirty-eight. More than double the original guarantee. And just when it looked like things couldn’t get crazier anymore, the final week somehow became the biggest one of all. The Week 5 final came with 3 guaranteed packages… and ended with an unbelievable NINE packages awarded instead.
I must say, and I speak for myself here, the tears almost starting coming, as it's just a wonderful sight to see a plan come together.
Let's stick a number to it: A total of over €70,000 has been given out in terms of packages, Add to that approximately €5,000 to €7,500 in cash prizes that were additional to the packages that were given out, then you come to amount of almost €80,000!

Honestly, if somebody showed me these numbers before the campaign started, I probably would’ve checked if they accidentally added an extra digit somewhere. (This does happen sometimes when doing administration :P)
The Seat-Only Events Also Went Completely Crazy
As if the package numbers weren't already enoughm the Seat-Only tournaments also delivered throughout the series. Not in the same proportions, as there were no extra tickets handed out outside the guaranteed prize pools, but still it has been a very fun ride as well!
Across the campaign, a total of:
15 x €550 Main Event Seats
were awarded to players. That’s another €8,250 worth of Main Event tickets added on top of the package campaign itself. These packages are for players that visit live events fairly vital. Why? Because it does give some extra comfort, knowing that you have a second bullet (or more) available to use. And in most cases, these came from a mere buy-in of just €5!
Rozvadov Is Absolutely Booming Right Now
Whoever is still under the impression that Rozvadov isn’t the right place to be for live poker these days is probably having second thoughts now.
We hope the results of this campaign show players that Rozvadov is every bit as popular as before, if not even more so.
The Festival Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of €500,000, and a buy-in of €550, will be the red line of the event as per usual. But definately don't miss out on all the side events, including the Bounty Hunter Days Mystery Bounty event, that is debuting on our schedule. As well, The Hendon Mob Championship will be back once again, after it broke all records during our event last year.
For many players, these satellites are turning into actual live poker trips, hotel stays, crazy stories, late-night drinks, new poker friendships, and experiences they probably never expected to get from starting online qualifier, even in Rozvadov!
A Campaign That Completely Smashed Expectations
In the end, this campaign simply exceeded every expectation imaginable.
- 17 guaranteed packages became 38 awarded
- 15 additional Main Event seats got distributed
- Every single weekly guarantee got crushed
- Hundreds of players battled through the satellites
- Rozvadov hype somehow became even bigger
Huge congratulations to everybody who qualified, everybody who battled through the feeders, and everybody who helped make this campaign one of the craziest online satellite series we’ve seen in quite some time!
