Poker in Tallinn – New Highlights with 25.000 GTD Mystery Bounty, 100 euro Satellite tournament, and Teddy’s Birthday Bash!

Tallinn is calling once again — and this time, it’s louder than ever. The Chesterfield poker club announced The Chesterfield 250 Mystery Bounty Tournament, a €250 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em event with €25,000 guaranteed, running October 24–25, as well as €100 satellite tournament on October 25th, where you can win a ton of prizes such as a full package for The Festival Series! But the ' Teddy on the Cake' has to be the birthday bash of a friend of The Festival and owner of poker.pro, Teddy Humio Kashiwagi Bremseth’s 50th Birthday!

It's going to be a period in Tallinn where players from any kind of background will be served as you are in a two-Michelin start restaurant. You got low buy-in tournaments at the Chesterfield Poker Club, and you have mid- to high stakes in the Bombay Club. Need more reason to visit the beautiful capital city of Estonia?

Teddy, the birthday boy, known for his relentless drive in the poker industry and his deep roots in the community, is bringing together friends, partners, and competitors from every corner of the world to celebrate poker, passion, and partnership, destined to be written in poker history.

Before we jump into the details of this epic gathering of events, let’s hear directly from the man himself — Teddy.

Interview with Teddy Humio Kashiwagi Bremseth

Teddy! You are having your birthday soon. A special one. The magical 50! Tell us what is on the schedule for your birthday bash in Tallinn.

I would call it the Poker Network Festival & Birthday Party. Like we do around the world — we invite friends, partners, and competitors from the industry. We all share the same passion for poker. We love the game, the atmosphere, and regardless of win or loss, we gather to play, party, and do future business. Like last year, we’ve taken away the Main Event tournament and replaced it with daily semi-hyper tournaments from €1,100 to €2,650 buy-ins. We’ll have PLO5, Pineapple, and NLH tournaments — all played out on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. On the 23rd, we kick things off with cash games and a brand new tournament format — Flip Into ITM! It’s a €500 NLH where everyone flips the first hand, and the winner is instantly ITM on the special birthday tournament on the 27th.

On top of all this: Kayhan Mokri has agreed to play the biggest heads-up match ever versus Monarch, and the livestream is ready. Guests from all over the world are flying in, some on private jets, and top B2B industry names have confirmed (though we can’t name them for security reasons).

You have visited events of The Festival Series before and it's all about mixed games, multi-day Hold’em tournaments, and of course cash games. What do you think about the concept and how is the progress of such a concept for you?

I love the festival concept, and I’m a fan of multi-table tournament festivals and cash games that focus on grassroots pools — the lower buy-ins. This is so important for the whole industry, because it creates more mid-stake and high-stake players in the long run.

Tallinn seems to be a special place for you. Poker.pro is also present at various events in Tallinn for live reporting. Can you explain this a bit in detail? Why Tallinn?

I’ve been going to Tallinn since Coolbet started up tournaments here. For over a decade, I’ve been coming several times a year. Then we got Bombay! That’s my favourite place by far. I’ve been with Bombay since day one, and I’ve never seen a place like this anywhere in the world — and trust me, I’ve seen most of the top poker rooms out there. Old Town is a fantastic place with so much history, friendly people, and it’s the gaming capital of Northern Europe. I truly believe Tallinn will become the capital of poker too. With Chesterfield serving the lower buy-ins and cash games, and Bombay already owning the high-stakes scene, it’s all coming together. Poker.pro has been serving the B2B side for years here, with live reporting and TV table commentary. We’ve now moved to the harbour, registered the company in Tallinn, and we’re ready for another decade.

We know you for a while now at The Festival Series. Let’s spice it up a bit. What’s one story from the poker tables that you remember the most?

That’s a hard one — so many good memories. But let’s take one from the early days when I was running clubs in Oslo. We used to have the biggest and best clubs in Oslo. One early morning, I had to step in as a dealer. We couldn’t close because it was 4–5 recreational players battling 2 regs. They had been playing since Friday afternoon, and this was late Saturday night. Every hand was pumped preflop (NLH). On the turn, two players remained — reg vs. recreational. Pot was already huge. Reg was clearly ahead, milk-betting, and the recreational player kept calling. River came, reg went all-in. There were two diamonds on the board. Recreational had an Ace and another diamond, tanking hard. Then he said, “F*** it, I’m committed and I got outs,” and called. Reg turned the nut straight. Recreational looked confused and asked me, “Why don’t you deal the river?” He didn’t realize it was already dealt and thought he was still drawing!

Bombay Club and Chesterfield — two locations in Tallinn aiming for class and world-level quality. What makes them stand out?

Both bring something unique to the table — Chesterfield is where grassroots and recreational players thrive, while Bombay is where the high-stakes magic happens. Together, they form a complete poker ecosystem. Tallinn has something for everyone now.

Poker.pro is your baby. You’ve been with it for many years. Is it now where you hoped it would be?

Poker.pro was born in 2007. I took over during Covid, and yeah — it was a baby compared to other sites back then. I came from the affiliate industry and wanted to build it up that way, but after the first lockdown, a top dog convinced me to focus only on poker. No casino traffic — just news and community for recreational players. We started covering live MTTs, bringing players, and got B2B contracts. We’ve always focused on brand visibility — we’re well-known in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Balkans. Now we’re pushing into Canada and the UK, with Asia next. I’m never satisfied because we always want to be better, bigger — it’s a long way to the top if you wanna rock’n’roll.

For the ones are not familiar yet with poker.pro

Poker.pro is an online poker affiliate network and player community that connects users to various poker sites. They are also media partner of our humble brand of The Festival Series. Founded in 2007, Poker.pro promotes itself as a trusted middleman offering players exclusive deals, rakeback, and access to poker apps.

The site also provides poker news and is often to be found on live events. Former Festival Series powerhouse Jason Glatzer, alongside Swedish star Christoffer Karlen and others, are providing coverage of several live events across the world. With their endless enthusiasm and passion for the game, they are giving the readers at home a perfect view of what is happening on the live events they are part of.

Poker.pro travels everywhere. But maintaining such a site must be a 24/7 job, right?

It’s definitely 24/7. Poker.pro isn’t even our main product — I’m involved in several groups in the industry, with multiple live and developing products. I wasn’t supposed to be involved last year, but it’s like you said — it’s my baby. I can’t stay away. It’s growing daily and always needs that ADHD injection from me!

Spotlight: The Chesterfield 250 Mystery Bounty & Satellites

Alongside Teddy’s birthday bash, The Chesterfield 250 takes the spotlight as one of the most exciting recurring tournaments in Tallinn. It’s a €250 buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty with a €25,000 guaranteed prize pool, and it’s happening October 24–25 for the first time.

There are also three guaranteed Mystery Bounty cash prizes worth €5,000, €3,000, and €2,000, plus extra rewards like The Festival Series packages, tournament tickets, and even hospitality vouchers. Once players reach the money, every knockout gives them a shot at a mystery envelope with a hidden prize.

And if that’s not enough, there’s also a €100 satellite running before, where you can win a €1,600 The Festival Bratislava package (November 18–24) plus cash prizes. Half the prize pool goes toward the package, and half toward cash distribution.

For both all these tournaments at Chesterfield Pokerclub, you can purchase a special €650 package as well which includes 2 nights hotel accommodation near the casino, buy-ins to both €100, and the €250 Mystery Bounty tournament, and more!
