Road to Rozvadov 2026: Follow Sycksbe and Qualify Online
The road to The Festival Rozvadov 2026 is officially underway, where players were able to qualify through Jevakim's satellites last year, it's now up to Sycksbe to be the star of the show! Christian Arstad, known as 'Sycksbe' to the online poker community, is a Coolbet ambassador and fellow online poker streamer from Norway. As of upcoming Thursday, May 7th, you can qualify at Coolbet alongside him!

You’ll be running and playing qualifiers for The Festival Rozvadov through Coolbet. How much are you looking forward to that, and what makes these qualifiers special to you?
''I can’t wait for Rozvadov, and the qualifiers on Coolbet are the ultimate countdown. These qualifiers are special to me because they aren't just about the poker, they’re about hosting a battle and giving players a chance to join the trip for a cheaper price. It’s going to be a fun ride railing the qualifiers, and I’m excited to cheer on and travel with the potential winners!''
Do you feel any added pressure or responsibility knowing players might qualify through your games and then meet you live in Rozvadov?
''No pressure at all, just pure excitement! To me, the coolest part about these qualifiers is that they bridge the gap between the online grind, the stream community, and the live experience. I don’t see it as a responsibility, I see it as building the community we’re going to hang out with in Rozvadov. I honestly can’t wait to meet everyone at the tables and grab a drink with the qualifiers when we get there!''
What kind of field do you expect from these qualifiers, mainly recreational players taking a shot, or a tougher mix with regular grinders?
''I’m expecting a really healthy mix, which is exactly what makes these qualifiers so great. On one hand, you have the dedicated grinders who know the value of these packages. On the other hand, The Festival has such huge appeal for recreational players who are looking for that epic poker holiday experience. So again, I’m really excited to see who will win these qualifiers!''
You’ve played at King’s Casino Rozvadov before, what’s your honest opinion of the venue?
''King’s is the definition of entering a poker bubble, and I love it. It’s like a playground for poker players where everything is right there, the tables, the players, and the hotel. It’s the kind of place where you can just lose track of time and focus 100% on the game and having a good time at the tables! And with The Festival schedule, there’s always something to enter!''
Rozvadov is often called a “grinder’s paradise”, do you agree with that label, and why? Some players feel it can be a bit overwhelming for recreational players, do you think that’s fair, or do you actually see it as a great opportunity for them?
''I definitely see why people call it a grinder’s paradise because the action never stops, but I honestly think it’s a place for everyone. While King’s is built for poker, it’s The Festival that really opens it up for recreational players. The schedule has so much variety, and especially with all the qualifiers that run every day, so many recreational players find their way, all the way from the cheapest buy-ins, qualifying to play massive fields live with a chance to win a huge score!''
The Wedde Brothers are back as ambassadors with Coolbet, what does that bring to the team dynamic?
''Hyped, hyped, HYPED! I’m so glad to have them back on the team! We’ve already had a couple of collab streams, and plenty more to come. Our community is all about good vibes, and they bring even more of that.''
The Festival Series keeps growing with more stops and bigger schedules, what’s your take on how the series is evolving?
''It’s been incredible to watch the evolution of The Festival Series! To me, it feels like they’ve cracked the code. All kinds of tournaments, NLH, PLO, and Mixed. Seeing the schedule expand with more stops and creative events shows that there’s massive demand. The buy-ins are on point, alongside all the fun beyond poker through the hospitality packages. Proud ambassador right here! I’m just excited to be part of that journey and can’t wait to see how much further they can take it!''
Looking ahead, what are your personal goals for the rest of the year, are you chasing titles, big results, or something else entirely?
''For the rest of the year, my main goal is to just keep enjoying the ride. First Rozvadov, Coolbet Open, Norwegian Champs, another The Festival… I’ve realized that I’m at my best when I’m having fun with the game, so I’m not out here desperately chasing titles or specific results. Of course, I’m always going to sit down and try to play my absolute best game every time I enter a tournament. If the big results come, even a title of some sort, that’s the peak. But the real win for me is being part of this community, traveling to great spots, and just enjoying it. As long as the passion is there and I’m having a blast, the year is already a success.''
The Festival Rozvadov 2026

The Festival Rozvadov will be held from June 9 to 15, and will consist out of a plethora of tournaments, and you can expect the most diverse poker formats to be available. But as you might already know, The Festival isn't just about poker, it's about the hospitality events mainly as well.
